Was a nice lady with a good amount of knowledge! However, for the price it did not meet expectations. I would say less people in groups would make it easier to have a full inexperience. Or possibly have more time for the hike.

The experience we had was amazing and definitely started our interest more into foraging and mushrooms. It was the perfect fall weather and walking into the forest that day was like a dream and an experience me and my partner really enjoyed! We also met people who share our same interests in nature which was really nice. Definitely recommended! Cant wait to see if ruthie will release a cook book about wild mushrooms!

Wonderful experience! Ruth is is very knowledgeable and took the time to carefully explain the risks inherent in foraging For wild mushrooms. “If in doubt, throw it out”. Will definitely seek Ruthie out again.

I had a lovely time with Ruthie, she picked a truly beautiful spot for us to roam and forage. We found multiple specimens, took great photos and I left with more knowledge than I came with👏🍄🍃

This was a lovely experience. Ruthie was very knowledgeable and shared lots of info on mushrooms as well as other wild edibles we encountered. Came home with a pretty good haul of mushrooms and lots of new knowledge of local mushrooms as well as confidence in knowing how to safely identify edibles. Highly recommend to folks looking to get into mushroom foraging...best to learn from someone who really knows what they are talking about.

Great experience for us. We had 0 knowledge on the topic going into it and ended up with a great variety of edible mushrooms and great knowledge as a jumping point if we wanted to do this on our own. I would highly recommend to anyone interested in foraging or loves mushrooms in general.
