Ruthie's coffee roasting experience was so much fun! I was excited about what I learned and left with a greater love for coffee! All of my friends want to go to Kingston and take Ruthie's roasting experience now! Ruthie was a warm and friendly host with so much coffee and food knowledge. The treats she put out were yummy,, and the coffee we sipped as we learned and roasted was DELISH! We ended up purchasing raw beans from her to try our hand at home! With Ruthie's education and guidance from the experience, we feel confident that we will create some yummy home roasts! We highly recommend signing up!

Loved the personal touch. It felt like we were visiting her home workshop. Lou, the chocolate lab, of course was a great bonus. Great explanations about the differences in coffee beans and locations. Will definitely return for her other offerings.

This was a great experience. It seemed unique and was certainly an excellent value. Ruthie is very kind, and extremely personable. It was a pleasure to learn from her. I left with a delicious latte, wonderfully smelling roasted coffee beans, and the knowledge to roast my own at home some day.

It was an amazing experience! As a coffee lover, it was my first ever roasting the bean. She also gave us a bag of coffee beans that I personally roasted. Ruthie is very friendly and knowledgeable. She had her dog with her which made the experience extra enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend.

If you have ever wondered how your coffee beans are roasted, or maybe want to try it out yourself, this is a great introduction! Ruthie explains the steps clearly without bogging you down in loads of detail (but you can ask for more!). She has a great understanding of the process so teaches it with ease. She also offers her green beans for sale so if you have the urge to do this at home, you have a supplier of really great beans! Definitely a ‘must do’ experience for coffee drinkers!
