What you'll do

We will start in the historic old town, share a cuppa of organic tea in a heritage designated building (that may or may not have a ghost). From there, we will embark on a 90 minute walking tour of the old town and dock areas of Niagara-on-the-Lake. We will see where Canada's first newspaper was published, the beautiful gazebo, where the thriving dock area was, see the remnants of Railroad turntable, drink from a fresh spring if you dare ;). We will enjoy some beautiful views of Toronto and Fort Niagara in Youngstown New York, see where the Game Trivial Pursuit was invented, talk about movies filmed in NOTL and more. . We will be walking down some of the prettiest residential streets in Canada and you will have many photo ops. Our walking tour begins in the Old Town and concludes in the Old Town and we will be going places you can't access on your own. We include free parking in Old Town - when you book I'll let you know where.

Hi, I've lived in Niagara-on-the-Lake for 6 years and have fallen in love with it. I'm an avid traveller, history buff and all around geek about interesting facts. My goal is to show you my town in a way that only a local can :) On this fun tour, we will experiences many of the locals favourite spots. I will give you a deeper understanding of the importance Niagara-on-the-Lake has in the in the building of Canada. Hint - Did you know NOTL, was Canada's first capital city? Super Bonus - We will visit spots that can't be accessed by yourself. I own a business in the Old Town and spend my days sharing the unique history of our town with visitors, so taking folks to those places will be that much more fun for both of us.
