What you'll do
We'll check out the buildings of Tadao Ando, a Pritzker Prize-winning self-taught architect. He's not only famous worldwide—he is also the architect who influenced me most strongly as a contemporary artist. His style reflects an exquisite sense of balance and tranquility. I'll discuss the story of his architecture from my own perspective as an artist while we drink tea in the café of a Tadao Ando space and then we'll walk around to see as many as seven of his buildings.

Where you'll be
We'll meet at Hongo-san-chome Station and finish at Shibuya Station. In between, we'll see up to seven Tadao Ando works in Tokyo University, the Roppongi area, and the Omotesando area. As an option, we can meet early and eat lunch at the university cafeteria.
