What you'll do
Welcome on board! Sit back, relax and enjoy one of the most characteristic and unique experiences of Genoa. Once we set sail, you'll learn some basic sailing know-how, so that you'll immediately feel how it is to be a member of the crew. Chill out, take a drink, taste the original Italian food, enjoy the breeze and swim in the open sea into the clear Mediterranean waters. From there, you'll have the opportunity to live the whole Gulf of Genoa from an unique point of view and, if we are lucky enough, to meet dolphins, whales, sea turtles and other marine species.
Have you ever had a Call from the sea? The one that you can hear even when you are hundred miles away from the coast. That Call has kept catching me since I was a kid. Even if I've worked as a journalist for years, I've always known deep inside that I had to embrace the Call. And here I am, to share my biggest passion with you. I learnt how to sail 16 years ago, but I only discovered the world of Airbnb Experience last year, sailing around the Venetian Lagoon with tourists from all over the globe. In Venice I've fully embraced my Call, experiencing the dream to live on a boat. Now that I'm in the West Coast of Italy, I can't wait to show you the hidden treasures I've discovered nearby when I was a journalist. I've spent my life sharing emotions through written stories, now I wanna make them real with my boat.

Where you'll be
We'll meet in the Old Port of Genoa, close to the famous Aquarium. Our main destination will be the suggestive village of Boccadasse, a hidden colourful pearl historically known for its ancient fishermen's culture. There, depending on the conditions of the wind and the sea, we will either sail or have a swim together. Finally, we'll have the Italian aperitivo, made with typical products of the Genovese tradition.
