What you'll do
I'll present the best of Brazilian cuisine starting with the appetizers: - COXINHA (chicken and croquet), - PAO DE QUEIJO (Brazilian cheese balls) Then the main course will be the classic - MOQUECA (white fish, vegetables, coconut milk and some spices) garnished with - banana farofa, - cooked cassava, - white rice and - salad To complete the meal you will taste the famous - BRIGADEIRO, classic Brazilian dessert that resembles a chocolate truffle, but made with condensed milk and cacao. All this listening to a great Brazilian music, many photos of Brazil, and a - CAIPIRINHA (Brazilian drink made with cachaca and lime) one per person. Its a wonderful experience to open your horizon about Brazil and Latin America with a real Brazilian family :D I'm always open to change the menu in case of food restrictions (veggies) or allergy - just let me know! ;D You'll help me to cut some ingredients and cook some recipes during your experience, its kind of a cooking class but it's not a 100% hands-on because I don't have so much space in the kitchen to everyone cook at the same time, but of course I'll send to you all recipes of the day and show you how to prepare them. I'm always happy to answer all your questions ;D Hope see you here soon!

I am a Brazilian chef and baker who moved to Montreal 3 years ago in search of quality of life. But like every Brazilian, I never wanted to lose contact with my country, and the way I found to always be talking about Brazil was through these lunches and dinners in my house. I cook since I was 16 years old, so I have a lot of experience, I worked in several restaurants in Brazil, Portugal, France and now here in Montreal. I am currently a Chef instructor/teacher in some Montreal cooking schools, because I love teaching what I have learned so in my experience you will learn the technique, the history of the dish, and how to prepare it of course! I used to do these dinners only for friends, but I believe my mission is to show Brazilian culture to more people around the world, so welcome to my home and my Brazilian world!! =)
