I'm a bilingual naturalist and cultural heritage docent based in the Washington, DC metro area. My passion is preserving natural and cultural heritage and inspiring the next generation.

What we’ll do

Washington DC is well known as the seat of the US government. However, most don't get a chance to look into the natural and cultural heritage of this region. In this experience you will visit four (4) landmarks of the DC area, through this journey I will elucidate the pre-colonial and natural significance of these areas. We will begin with a visit to the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, work our way…

This tour is flexible and allows you to experience DC in a different way. We will be outdoors for most of the time, please keep in mind that winters are cold and summers are humid.

Where you'll be

The journey will begin at the Thomas Jefferson memorial in the tidal basin of the city. Then we'll drive across the Potomac River to the Marine Corps memorial. Next we'll visit the Teddy Roosevelt memorial, the only island dedicated as a monument to a president. We'll end our journey at the Lincoln memorial from where you may continue on your own to other sites and monuments.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
