I am a third generation honeybee keeper and permaculture gardener. I keep honeybees to learn more about how they pollinate our food crops. I am concerned about honeybees dying and work to educate everyone about the roles of honeybees in our industrial agriculture system. Honeybees have evolved with humans for centuries and in this time they are in peril and need our help.

Where you'll be

We will be on my home's property in the backyard. My home is in Jefferson Park on the northwest side of Chicago. This is a very safe neighborhood, easily accessible by CTA train/bus and both 90/94 highways. There is plenty of street parking in front of my building.
