What you'll do

Covid 19 Update
The Corona virus has impacted our lives in many ways. Social interactions will be limited for at least the next few months. Here is what you need to know about your WineloversNiagara Experience.
The Niagara Region has not been identified as a virus hotspot. My tours meet the standards for social interactions recommended by the health authorities. Travel on my tours is by private car with no more than myself and 4 guests. For now, each tour group will be limited to people who know each other, so if you are just one couple, you will have a private tour at no extra charge. My car will be sanitized before every tour.
We only go to small boutique wineries, and can easily change venues if a scheduled one appears overcrowded. My dining options include light lunches at the wineries, or my Picnic Experience where we picnic on our own outdoors in a local vineyard.

We pick you up and drop you off at any local address in the Niagara Region.
Your tour will last 5 hours, plus pickup and drop off time.

Your Choice Of Four venues. My site www.wineloversniagara.com lists some of the award winning wineries, breweries and distillery that I have personally chosen for my tours. I encourage you to view the list and make your choices. Other venues are available on request.
Other things to note
Wine tasting fees are extra and vary from winery to winery. Many wineries will waive these fees with a purchase. To see and choose recommended venues go to www.wineloversniagara.com

Gratuities not included

As retired world travelers and wine enthusiasts, my wife and I have been touring the Niagara area since the start of the wine industry here over 35 years ago. These days it is my pleasure and passion to recreate those very special wine experiences just for you.

In Ontario, I have had the pleasure to conduct many memorable wine tours and the Niagara region has some of the very best. I know the best award winning boutique wineries. My international experience extends to numerous American wineries, as well as wineries in Tuscany, New Zealand, and Australia, including Tasmania.

Paul's "Wine Lovers Niagara" tour was exceptional in that Paul is both personal and professional, knowledgable and a natural story-teller. He is deeply immersed in all things wine, from local to international history of wine making, grape growing, varieties of grapes and the histories and stories of local estates. His knowledge extends well beyond this, as he was a fount of wisdom regarding local history, geography and all things Niagara. If you are interested in the War of 1812, Paul's got this covered. Paul was at all times present, and has developed personal relationships with the local estate wine owners and staff that he works with, which made the entrance into the wine tastings seemless and friendly. Additionally, he makes a mean mimosa, knows the best picnic spots overlooking the gorge and will take you to the best home-made jam in the region. He is more than happy to personalize this tour experience to individual interests, so tell him what you want to see and he will make it happen. I learned more than my head could hold about wine, Niagara, local geography and history all while sipping some pretty fine wine! Do yourselves a favour and book a tour with Paul. You won't regret it.

This experience lets one wind down in the diverse wineries of Niagara region. In this well sequenced line of places to be visited, we learned a lot about the region - through wine and food. Each wine that we tasted was so distinct that it told a story of its own. Paul was kind in answering all our questions. Each of the wineries had its own method and understanding of the process. Paul helped throughout the time in keeping the visits safe and on the whole, a well rounded experience.

Paul is an absolute gem of a guide. The day truly was more than a wine tour and it is all because of Paul’s love for and knowledge of wine and the area. We had a wonderful day and Paul was more than accommodating. I cannot recommend him enough!

We had a really great day with Paul. He is a wine lover and an expert in the Niagara region. You will have a much better tour than the "commercial" ones! Thanks Paul!
