About your host

My name is Roy and I'm a professional photographer of interiors, architecture and real estate, living in Milan since 2012. Next to my commercial work I love photographing abstract architecture. I want to share with you my insights and secret tips on how to see new things and improve your photography skills while also getting to know Milan from an insider's point of view.

What we’ll do

We'll meet for a coffee in one of the newest areas of Milan with the latest architectural landmarks of the city designed by famous architects like Herzog & De Meuron and Stefano Boeri. I will take you on a walk and tell you about the history of the neighbourhood, it's current development and more particular, about the individual buildings. While discovering the area you'll learn how to make unique…

What else you should know

Off course you should bring your camera or your smartphone ;-) The quality is less important, just make sure the battery is charged. Also bring sun protection and a bottle of water. You can refill it.

What I’ll provide

Drinks
A coffee. We'll meet with a coffee or cappuccino at Café Gorille next to the famous Bosco Verticale.

What to bring

A compact or dslr camera with standard lens. Or your smartphone.
A bottle with water, which can be refilled during the tour.
Sun protection and sun cream (in case of sunny weather).
Good shoes are advised.
You're free to bring extra lenses if you want, but consider the weight.
Spare batteries for the camera or a power bank for your smartphone.
