When i was around 30 years old had gotten serious disease that caused me to go to bathroom over 30 times every day!! The disease was specified by the Japanese government as serious sickness So I had start to cook to overcome the disease through improving dietary habits. At first I mainly cook meat dishes. However I start to cook fish dishes to be more healthier. Simmered fish is the best way to eat delicious fish dish at home. You’ll learn how to remove the fish smell and how to season a fish using Japanese traditional cooking skills and by adding condiments. We’ll experience various tastes of simmered fish seasoned different ways. We’ll cook a rice dish, miso soup, and a Japanese-style dessert, and eat them all at lunchtime.
I was born in the Oita Prefecture and went to university in China, where I realized my dream of working for foreigners at a trading company, as a teacher, and as an English and Chinese translator. I began to cook fish dishes, especially simmered fish. At first I didn’t like fish, but grew to love it and now run a Japanese simmered fish cooking class hoping that everyone will enjoy this dish.
