While I was on a six-hour historical tour my stomach began to grumble as the guide pointed out some delicious food spots. It was then that I had an “aha moment.” I decided to include my favorite food places on a history and culture walking tour, so folks wouldn’t be hungry while discovering the city!

I want my tours to tell the story of the neighborhood through its food and the people who prepare it. The rest, as they say, is history. I've been giving tours for over 7 years in multiple cities. So when you join one of my tours, you can rest assured you'll be in expert hands as you taste your way around the city!

Grace was an informed and generous guide. This was a Great experience and we will definitely take their tour of the French quarter when we visit again.

Just a note, Josh is not the tour guide, I'm not sure why advertises it as Josh; in any case, the tour guide was Grace and she was fantastic. It was exciting getting to go to new places I would not have picked out for myself. We got to tour the lovely historical district and even got to try some delicious fresh fruit straight off the trees. It was lovely meeting people from different backgrounds as well, a great tour and good value.

Our guide didn’t seem like she’d done much research about the area or what she was telling us about. She had a few personal stories, but we did quite a bit of research on our phones while on the tour to find answers to things she couldn’t answer or hadn’t looked into. However, the food was really great. Everything we tried was really delicious. If you’ve already done a kind of standard New Orleans food tour, this is a cool way to try some really delicious creole-inspired dishes from other cultures.

Great tour with visit to some amazing food stops. Had great fun with the other guests and the tour flew by even though the weather was a little drizzly

A great way to discover some “locals only” food that you would never find otherwise. Also, there’s some interesting history about the neighborhood and the city.

This food tour of the Lower Garment District introduced us to several food venues I probably would not have found on my own. Our guide was personable and authentic and our group was lively and good natured. I enjoyed the variety and the insights from our friendly and approachable guide.
