The rustic half-timbered house is located in the middle of the forest. In 2020, the cottage was completely renovated: modern, high quality and flooded with light. Relaxation is provided by the new barrel sauna and the hot tub in the garden (for a surcharge). Through the large upstairs windows you can look at the neighboring golf course - or enjoy the untouched nature. The secluded property offers the best conditions for relaxing moments with up to 8 people. [Children up to the age of 10 stay free of charge/when booking with an accompanying person.]

Historic Cottage for nature lovers

Our little bakery originally dates back to the 17th century and belonged to a large Lower Saxony farm, which unfortunately no longer exists. Jutta acquired the house a good 20 years ago and made it into a small oasis with a lot of love for detail. Located in a village of 1000 inhabitants with a village store, bank and gas station, you can find peace and relaxation under the huge oak trees. Expanded bike paths invite you to cycle. The rural environment offers plenty of nature.

Fantastic renovated city villa in the center of Vechta. Restaurants, cafes, bakeries and supermarkets are within walking distance. 2 parking spaces right in front of the house + carport behind the house. The house has 2 bedrooms with box spring beds as well as a room with 2 single beds. Large modern kitchen as well as living room with separate dining room. Stylish and modernly furnished and the perfect place to spend a relaxing time with family or friends in Vechta.

2-room guest apartment near the forest/moor/Dümmer

The master bedroom with double bed and TV, kitchen and shower room can also be booked individually. Please note that the second bedroom is only accessible through the master bedroom. So this is a WALK-THROUGH ROOM! Our property is located in the village. Rural and (mostly) quiet. The immediate surroundings are suitable for bike rides and walks in the forest. Shopping for basics such as groceries is ~ 4 km away. The district town of Diepholz is ~ 10 km away.

Pretty countryside apartment

This pretty apartment is located in an old half-timbered house very close to the Neustädter Moor. Ideal for walking, cycling or crane watching. The Dümmer can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. In the village there is a swimming pool, a variety of shops and restaurants. The Ströhen Zoo and the Moor Worlds can be found in the neighboring village. The apartment is fully equipped, has a double bedroom and in the living room there is a sofa bed.

Living in the (tiny) house - idyll in Crane Land!

Relaxed, quiet atmosphere for stargazers! Idyllic garden house on former farm in a very quiet location. Ideal for cyclists and country lovers, far away from cities and villages. In good weather, stargazers can admire the Milky Way, as the view is so clear at night. During the day you can just sit down and listen to the birds and in the evening enjoy the chirping of the crickets with wine. Starting in October, the cranes move into the country.

Pappelheim

In the north of the Dümmer Nature Park, between the Diepholz bog lowlands and Rehden Geestmoor, where the cranes winter, lies this small half-timbered house in a very quiet rural location. There is a kitchen, 1 living room, 2 bathrooms, 1 bedroom and the attic studio available on approx. 70 m² of living space. Terrace, garden and parking at the house are included. Smokers and urinators must stay outside. Dogs are allowed in, but not in bed.

In the historic farmhouse there are 6 lovingly designed guest rooms and large living and recreation areas. In the hall, 20 people can easily dine together. There are plenty of retreats and cozy niches by the fireplace. The garden beckons with outdoor seating, swings and a fireplace for long campfire evenings or a walk in the park. Nearby, a large forest invites you to hike or bike. The house is quietly located and has no direct neighbors.

UniKate – Vacation in Artland

Our unique property is located in the beautiful Artland between meadows and fields. In the area you will find quaint small towns for half-timbered lovers and small farms with farm shops and restaurants to stop by after an extended bike tour or longer walks. In comfortable beds, you can sleep deeply and relaxingly in peace and seclusion. Guests with children and/or four-legged family members are welcome.

Circus wagon on the alpaca pasture - pure relaxation!

At Alpakahof Strange, we live with many animals on an old farmstead from 1848. The Lower Saxony hall house is still in its original condition in some parts and exudes the charm of a long-gone rural tradition. In the pasture behind the farmhouse stands the spacious circus wagon. The wagon shares the pasture with our llamas and alpacas, who graze and rest there during the day. Pure relaxation!
