Nan's NookThis is an urban/zen carriage house apartment, cozy yet spacious with the artists recycling hand at work. The neighborhood includes all the faces of America. I live in the stately house adjacent to the garage apartment. There is a back courtyard with a fire pit area. The house itself is on Detroit Ave. The apartment faces the side street which is Thoreau. The neighborhood is quiet. People walk up to Drugmart or City Hall nearby and early on weekdays middle schoolers can be heard going to the school nearby, but for all this people activity, this urban neighborhood is peaceful. Folks who stay here say it is perfect for a retreat .Looking to disappear for awhile? Come to "Nan's Nook on Thoreau." In Lakewood. We are family friendly. This could be a good spot for a couple traveling with a baby . We can accommodate.
Cozy room near Airport and Fairview HospitalOnly 10 minute drive to the airport and two minutes from Fairview Hospital (great for medical students). This is not an entire house booking even though you will have access to common spaces and use of the kitchen. Guests will enjoy the brand new nectar queen size bed. I have extra necessities in case you forget something and provide bath essentials like shampoo and body wash. I also have cats as well, so please let me know if you have allergies when booking.
