Scenic area with lots of opportunities for walks, fishing, etc. The perfect base for exploring the islands, or just relaxing in peaceful, beautiful surroundings. With approx. 300 m. to sandy beach. Centrally located on the islands, 25 min. to Tórshavn, 20 min. to the airport, 45 min. to Runavík and Klaksvík.

Hyggeligt hus in Wood. Renovated in 2019, originally built in 1905. Viðareiði is a village. This is where 360 people live. Beautiful nature with large mountains. You can walk to "Enniberg" The location is amazing and has one of the most beautiful views of the Faroe Islands. At Viðareiði there is a reasonably large playground for children and a football field. There is no shop at Viðareiði.

The house is very old. Originally the house was half the size it is today, only around 15m2. In 1884 they built it bigger, around 29m2. Nobody knows how old the original house is. People have been living in the small village of Tjørnuvík for thousand years.
