Old 'alpendre' (porch) recently transformed for residential use in Santa Lucía de Tirajana. The alpendre was the house of the animals. The most valued and difficult to keep were the cows. There used to be two per property. The cows' part is now the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The goats and the donkey were housed in the other rooms that are now the bedrooms, and the current bathroom was the place where the grass was deposited for the rest of the day, as it was usually picked in the morning.

The house is on the outskirts of the village of San Bartolomé de Tirajana: "Tunte". Originally it was a house and a barn for animals with the typical construction of the time in the Canarian rural areas, with thick stone walls. The house, due to its wide walls and open common spaces, is cool in summer and cozy in winter, although it has air conditioning and a wood-burning fireplace.

A small 20 m2 studio-type house, located in the middle of a palm grove and olive trees. Quiet and private area where you can breathe fresh air, relax without noise from neighbors. Once you're in the house, and if you like hiking, you have 4 walking sticks and maps to make routes. There are also maps of Gran Canaria for car excursions and cycling maps. Note: there is no Wi-Fi!!!
