Beautiful house with nice amenities. Master bedroom on main floor allows for privacy. Also, great stay if you bring a dog. Safe backyard fenced area and mud room allow space to feed. Hint - walk up to Trinity Episcopal Church about 1/4 mile away and walk in 30+ acre fields behind the church. Accessible and great for walking.

This home worked perfectly for our companies 3 week stay while there for work. It was clean. AC and heat worked really well. Large washer and dryer for when laundry was needed.

Jill makes it all easy. Personable, communicative & responsive to any questions. Our 2nd visit & we look forward to our next opportunity to return.

Michelle was a great host and her house is super peaceful. We weren’t bothered by the low ceilings (though my 6’4” husband had to duck in some rooms) and steep stairs but those are quirks of a charming old house that other guests should be aware of. We very much appreciate that her place is dog friendly. Our pups loved the huge backyard!

The home was very clean, had everything we needed. The kitchen is fully stocked. This home has a peaceful and beautiful location. The hosts were very timely and responsive. We had some snow while there and the Rene was proactive in having the driveway and sidewalks cleared. We had a group of women and this was the perfect home for us to gather. Plenty of space for privacy and for us to spend time together. We enjoyed this home and would return. Highly recommend!

Joe and Amber were great hosts, We hung out as a group and it was great gathering they hosted, we had an infant with us and they were gladly able to accommodate an early checkin for a small fee. We had a surprise visitor who joined us for few hours during our stay and the owner duely acknowledged the extra persons who visited us. The house was clean and exactly what the photos described them to be. Thank you for hosting us!

We had the best stay!! Beautiful house and Dolly and her husband Brendan couldn't have been better. Great communication, always responsive, great local recommendations, AND Brendan even came and personally mowed the property for us- after their lawn crew didn't make it out before our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked and a great space to cook family meals. We also loved that they provided many of the basics- hand/dish soaps, dishwasher tabs, TidePods (which we didn't use, but nice to know they had if we needed) etc. We felt right at home! Only thing to mention is you can hear traffic out front from the nearby highway, but you'd never know once you're out back.. and it wouldn't stop us from visiting again!

Spacious house, beautiful land, great pool, convenient location, great amenities, and great host. The house was large enough for 12-15 people without issue. AC was nice and cool and no issues (important for summer months). The kitchen had everything we needed and we found ourselves in the kitchen all the time. Coffee area was used frequently by us. Espresso machine is a plus. Ability to grab eggs from the coup was great for breakfast. Beds were comfortable. A LOT of beautiful land available, so if you have kids, bring soccer balls, activities, etc. We didn’t, but thanks to the pool it didn’t matter. Pool was a nice size. Not too big where you worry about the kids, but not too small so you can spread out. No umbrellas out there, so if you need shade bring some umbrellas. Luckily we had one in the car. Location is convenient. 711 five minutes away and full on shopping centers are about ten minutes away. We’re looking forward for the next time we can visit here!

Linda and Rob were so friendly and so very kind! They are such good people! The cottage is wonderfully appointed and very peaceful. We PCS’d back from overseas and stayed there for about six weeks and it was a wonderful set up for our family of four. Our dogs had plenty of space to run freely and play and our boys so enjoyed helping with the chickens! It was a wonderful experience and felt like home! We were sad to leave at the end of our stay as Linda and Rob feel like family! We will be back to visit!

Ike was such a wonderful host and the property was lovely. Quite clean and private, and the AC works great! We will be back to use the pool this summer!

Kyle and Krystal were excellent hosts with a beautiful space. Everything was as described. Great pool, a kitchen with lots of needed items, linens, towels, and a beautiful yard. Private and secluded. They were both very responsive whenever we had a question. Highly recommend.

Absolute peaceful oasis. This home gives you every essence of Virginia Wine Country. The home was quaint and the deer came up every morning to greet us. I can’t wait to come back in the summer when the pool is open! Thanks again

The perfect weekend getaway! MIm's Barn was perfectly quaint, cozy, and charming. We loved the tennis court, spa, and the peaceful surroundings. The local guidebook was very helpful and the proximity to Sky Meadows State Park was a plus! Thanks to our hosts for creating such a lovely, welcoming spot.

She was a great host. Went to welcome us & made sure we had everything we needed. She was so sweet! The farm house was beautiful & the views were espectacular. We will be definitely coming back.

Had an amazing stay at Bristow with Debora & Nathan. Their place is a good middle point between Shehandoah & DC. Comes with stress-free parking spot. It smells amazing, everything’s super clean and I felt it was well stocked with necessities you could forget to pack. We had also found pretty good restaurants in the area and neighboring areas. I do wish we stayed an extra night or 2!

It was a wonderful place for our multi-generational family vacation! There was enough space where the kids could play loudly, but the adults could get quiet when needed. There was one minor issue and Matt and his team were super responsive and got the situation addressed quickly even though it was a holiday weekend.

Beautiful home with lots of space and privacy. We enjoyed being right by the creek and having so much room to explore. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. There is a nice screened in porch which was great for eating and avoiding the gnats that often seem to be wherever you go in Shenandoah! Overall a great experience. Does require an extra few miles of driving to loop back around to the National Park or Front Royal due to the lack of on ramps or ability to cross over 66, but the value was good and it’s not a huge pain by any means, just something to plan for. Also there are lots of wineries on that side of the road so still plenty to do. Good amount of space for traveling with multiple families.

We had a lovely stay at Lili's place. It was very peaceful! We would definitely book again if we were in the area. Lili was very responsive to any questions we had.

The Grape Escape was wonderful, and Jackie added so many personal touches and surprises for our arrival. There is so much to do in the area, even though we just mostly relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful cabin. It was so well appointed and we had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back. ❤️

Staying at WidePine is our family happy place. This is the third year we have planned an April weekend to enjoy this lovely home and its peaceful surroundings. The home is nicely decorated, very comfortable, and has everything you could want as far as amenities. We loved sitting on the deck or screened in porch to relax and enjoy the scenery, and our young kids and dog loved exploring the creek and fields. We also enjoyed traveling into Sperryville and visiting a local brewery. Patrick is a very responsive host and provided us flexibility in our departure time which was greatly appreciated. We have all agreed that next year we want to make it a three day weekend.
