“We were very comfortable here. Having bedrooms to ourselves really enhanced our enjoyment on the trip. The kitchen, dining and living areas are very comfortable. We never felt 'on top of each other'. The extra-large mudroom as you enter was a big bonus, especially in the winter with the amount of gear and outerwear we all had. The host met us when we arrived and provided an extensive amount of brochures, maps and guides to Yellowknife. This was very helpful. I can't imagine staying at a hotel and being in such small quarters when you can stay here with tons of comfortable living and working space! We had a rental car which enabled us to go anywhere at any time. Great trip!”
Our lovely home located within walking distance of downtown Yellowknife, it is a license b&b (continental self serve breakfast only). We provide bread, yogurt, milk, juices, coffee, tea , oatmeal, and cereals. Our home is a cozy and It was upgraded to a modern rustic house. Room size is about 9x9 NOTE: The House has 4 bedrooms but listed separately , MEANS YOU WILL SHARE THE HOUSE WITH OTHER GUESTS. One full bath at the second level and half bathroom at the first floor.
“Better than expected! There are four rooms in total. It's like having a host, and sharing your home with other people staying on Airbnb. The location is just a short distance from the city so you can walk about 10 minutes when you tour the Aurora Village. The host picked you up at the airport and booked a taxi to the airport, so there was no inconvenience. The taxi to the airport seems to cost about $ 20 to $ 25, and fortunately the card is paid! And the host filled the kitchen with cereal, milk, juice, bread, fruit, etc. every day, so we could eat freely. Induction and ovens weren't available in the winter, but microwaves and toasters were available. Contact the host and we will reply you as soon as possible. The next time you go to Yellowknife, you are willing to stay again!”
Our location is close to the Airport, downtown area, restaurants and cultural centre (all 10 minute drive). Our beautiful and tastefully decorated, well appointed home is suited for families, small groups and business travellers. It is located in a quiet area and is a short drive to all amenities. It has a lovely fenced-in yard with a deck off one of the living rooms, ideal for young children.
“Sam's house is very large, the kitchen equipment is very complete, there are many sofas in the living room, we watch movies in the living room every day and wait for the dark to see the aurora. Every night I see the aurora in the garden, I don't have to participate in the chasing group at all, but if you want to watch the aurora in the dark environment, it is recommended to drive to the Great Slave Lake to watch. The only thing to pay attention to is that if you are staying, you should control the water consumption. Because there is no running water, the water tank will fill the tank twice a week. If you accidentally, there will be no water. This should be paid special attention. .”
