“Beautiful stay at the top of a road in a quaint lovely town. Very welcoming and charming. We appreciated that the owner helped us carry our elderly dog into the guest house after we mistakenly missed that there are stairs to the 2nd floor suite. It had lovely décor and everything we needed for the night. Their dog Rusty was very nice and a joy to meet. A perfect place to stay, thank you. Would stay again.”
“Venue At The River” serves as a place to gather for our family and friends to enjoy peaceful water views and our pavilion. Our little piece of paradise is ready for you! This rental is specific to the 1 bedroom "Guest House" accommodation. (VATR owns and operates 4 rental accommodations.) Outdoor activities available based on the season of your say. Guests love the fact that they can use our Kayaks (No Charge) to get across the river to have access to Rails for Trails.
“Roy and Darlene's place was great! I really enjoyed my time there as a little getaway from the city. The apartment is exactly as pictured in the listing, and was extremely clean. The window seats are a great place to read a book on a rainy day. I ate several of my meals on the balcony and enjoyed the view of the river. I also went kayaking using their kayak and spent some time relaxing on the dock - very kind of them to allow guests to use these amenities. The bed and couch are both very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishware and cookware, as well as extras such as foil and parchment paper. Extra blankets and pillows are available in the window seat storage. Overall, a great place to stay if you need some peace and quiet!”
Our cottage is a beautiful Arts and Crafts style home located on the Allegheny River, just north of Foxburg, PA. The kitchen and bath are newly redone and the rest of the house refinished keeping in mind the period of construction.
“Beautiful location and charming 1929 cottage furnished with antiques and accents from a time long ago. The setting could not be more picturesque . While definitely not modern it is not advertised as such and the host provides everything you need and more including wi-fi. We loved our stay. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the area. Hope to return soon.”
