Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Franklin County

We had such a wonderful stay! It was the perfect location for those bucket list hikes. Nice and secluded and peaceful but not too far out of the way to still enjoy the local restaurants. We loved reading and enjoying lunch and coffee in the solarium out back too. Everything was perfect and we can’t wait to book again!

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The house was beautiful, exactly as described and then some. It had everything we needed, and probably the first time we didn’t have to run out and buy toilet paper/paper towels like we usually do, there was plenty! We loved the big sun room, the hot tub, the theater room, and the dock with all the watercrafts. Kids had a blast playing ping pong and pool, and the giant kitchen was great for meal prep and serving. The host was extremely responsive and helpful, which was a HUGE plus. Thank you Stephanie!!!!! We’ll be back 😊

We felt like we were at a second home. It was evident the thoughtfulness that was given to the furnishings to make them comfortable. We would highly recommend Matt's place when considering the area or just looking to get away to a really nice place

Libby and Kerry were great hosts. Very flexible and attentive. They treated us their own guests checking on us often to see if we needed anything. The place is historic and we felt like we were living in the 18s. My kids had som much fun with board games and toys in the cabin. They also liked exploring the big field. Definitely coming back.

Enjoyed my stay! Very peaceful location in the off-season. Katie made check-in and out easy. The condo layout was nice, and it included all the things you would need. The bathroom does include a tub; the tub has slip protection which is not removable. (Noting for those with kids.) Restaurant next door was delicious and easy to walk to. Also, easy to walk to is the clubhouse and beach area. I would stay again, and I don’t say that often.

Great place, super nice people, and peaceful. Kitchen could use better cookware for longer stays, but overall I have no complaints and would happily stay at the house again if I have the need or just need a quiet getaway. If you need a place in the Callaway area, this would be at the top of my list.

The cabin was just what my husband and I needed for a Valentine’s Day weekend getaway! From the moment we got there, the feelings of rest, relaxation, and restoration were there from the comfy reclining chairs in the living room next to the gas fireplace to the king size master bed with a walk-in dual waterfall shower to the hot tub with privacy screens! Deborah was very attentive and quick to respond to any needs, and she gave many great recommendations! Enjoy brunch at Old Oak Cafe before exploring the Booker T Washington National Monument or shopping at Mama Ann’s Gifts & Goodies! Enjoy delicious ice cream at Homestead Creamery or take a quick drive over to Roanoke to see the Roanoke Star, Optimus Prime Statue, and Mini Graceland while enjoying ice cream from Blue Cow Ice Cream! Even though the house is right off the road, it’s located down a back road that’s very quiet, so you never heard any traffic noise. Thanks for making our trip so wonderful, Ms. Deborah!
