“Kapil's Farmstay makes a decent get away from the busy city life. The Farmhouse is a cute small cottage with 1 bedroom a living area and a kitchen. The bedroom has a closet and a double bed. The living area is equipped with a sofa set and a divan. The ACs cool well in both rooms. The kitchen has basic cutlery and crockery. The bathroom has all necessities such as clean towels, toothpaste and soap. The cottage is surrounded with a number of mango trees and a small vegetable patch. In terms of food, there is a near by restaurant which delivers very homely and tasty food. The only draw back was the house wasn't cleaned to its optimum best and the sofa and curtauns were rather dusty and so were the windows. Overall staying at Kapil's Farmstay was a pleasant experience. Kapil was ever so accommodating and was certainly just a call away.”

“Nikhil's place is ideal for a short vacation in alibaug. The location is easy to find, the caretaker is easy to get in touch with, communication was smooth and the house is lovely. To begin with, it is a 1bhk that's a perfect space for two. There's a living room with a dining area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and balcony. The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with everything from eggs, bread, maggi, soup sachets, chinese sauces, masalas and spices, pots and pans, kitchen scissors, strainer, spoons, knives, bowls, plates, etc. There's nothing you need that isn't there. The balcony is a cozy space to sit and have a coffee. The entire apartment is very clean and the interior decor is very elegant. Only thing that would make the place better is a little more lighting in the bathroom and a mirror in the bedroom. There is a big mirror in the bathroom, though. Overall it's a lovely space. Would love to visit again.”

“This place is a perfect spot to get away from the crowded city life. It's a bit lonely and isolated but that's what a get away should be. A nice cackling bonfire for the whole night made my stay very memorable. I slept outside the house in the porch area and watched the sunrise in it's full glory lazing in my bed. Since the place is located in wilderness it is advisable to wear proper footwear as snakes can roam in the grass surrounding the place. Also the house is located on an elevated platform so no need to worry if you stay in the cement & stone structuredbpremises of the property. We did not have electricity for the complete duration of our stay from 6 PM (check-in) to 10 AM (check-out). But the care takers Mr. More & Mr. Daji had arranged for portable charged bulbs for lighting. These lasted us for around 4 hrs. Overall the place was safe but it's better to carry your own torch and candles for illumination. Go ahead and book the property. You shall be thrilled by the starry sky at night and the sun rising in the morning and blasting away the dark sky. The vicinity is well maintained by care takers and the lawn is also trimmed. One tip- the road to the property is not a normal tar road. So a CNG car won't climb the steep slope leading to the property. A SUV or a normal petrol/diesel car should be able to climb the slope with a fair amount of driving skill. Also when you leave the property you might have to travel the same steep slope downhill in revert gear as you might not get space to turn around your car if the car is a SUV. So reverse driving skills will be tested thoroughly. I could turn around my swift dzire with a bit of trial and error but a bigger car will have to climb downhill in reverse for sure. ;)”
