“The house is really beautiful, restored with many details and the apartment really cozy. We were there with 5 people and spent a lot of time in the apartment. A special highlight for us was the fireplace, where we could warm up after an autumn walk. We also cooked there and there was really everything you need for it! The rest of the place is also very pretty and nature invites you to walk! I would love to come back anytime!”
Apartment in iconic 1930s Villa in the village where the garden gnome was invented, located at the north side of the Thuringian forest, gently renovated and creatively furnished with large garden and easy to reach. Great for walking. Kids love this place. Artists, philosophers and composers retreat here regularly to concentrated on their work and discuss.
“The house is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy. From the inside lovingly designed and renovated - and outside there are beautiful old trees that donate shade to the balcony. We felt very well. The natural location was very nice.”
The house is modern and offers plenty of space for free development. A shuttle service can be requested separately. In the winter months perfect for winter sports in and around Oberhof, the rest of the year great for hiking, cycling and SightSeeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more.
“We stayed for one night, the room was really nice, comfortable and warm. So was the bathroom. The quality of the location depends on your personal needs, it fit ours perfectly. If you're going to Arnstadt or the surrounding area and don't mind a bit of a drive, this is as good of a place as any.”
