The Hunter Greenhouse is a place to slow down, indulge in personal nostalgia, drink a glass (or two) of wine, and let your mind disconnect and wander. A place designed for friends and family. For good food and good conversation. There's hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter, mountain fresh air and dark, starry nights. This is a house, and you can treat it as such. But if you let go, and give in to the energy of a space created with love, this will feel like home.
“My wife and I had a great stay at the “Hunter Greenhouse.” Our arrival was smooth as Danielle & Ely has provided clear and detailed instructions. The house is very charming and has some really nice touches. We especially enjoyed the record player, which was accompanied by a great selection of LPs. It’s clear that a great amount of thought went into the design of the place and it really pays off. We enjoyed the local towns of Tannersville and Hunter as well. The house is right down the road from Kaaterskill Falls and North South Lake. It’s such a beautiful area year-round. Thank you to Danielle & Ely for a great stay. We would definitely consider coming back in the future.”
Our largest option, the Mountain View Suite incorporates high ceilings, and mountaintop views from a raised dining area to provide a large and light oasis. Located on the second floor, the suite features custom antique accents and original artwork that evoke a sense of adventure. The room includes a large bath with clawfoot tub and shower, kitchenette, and sleeper sofa. Custom queen mattress (featured at the Four Seasons NYC), organic cotton sheets. Monday check in is 6pm; all other days, 3pm.
“Caitlin’s apartment is super cute, artsy and central. We loved the location since it’s within walking distance to countless great restaurants/2 breweries and a short drive to local hiking and tourist spots. The apartment was easy to access, including the large parking lot outside of the building, and has everything you need for a short getaway. Caitlin was also very responsive and thoughtful by sharing local recommendations! We loved the extra touches of sanitation to help us feel safe and welcome. Catskill is also such a cute, eclectic town- we loved all the cat statues and would definitely come back to visit in the future.”
My lovely 2 bedroom cottage is perfect for couples or families who love the mountains and like to get cozy in front of a fireplace. Enjoy grilling on the deck, picnicking around the campfire, laying on the lawn or exploring in the woods! Minutes from 2 major ski slopes!!!!
“The Rooster is adorable and Maria is very helpful with tips for hikes and things to do. The cabin was very clean and Maria left us enough wood for 2 nights of fires which we really enjoyed! There seemed to be everything you’d need there in the kitchen too. The beds are comfy and the towels are nice too! The bathroom was very recently and very stylishly redone. That being said, the entire cabin is VERY tiny. If you’re private in the bathroom, this is not the place for you. A word about the location also, if you are not from the city and aren’t used to road noise, this might not seem very peaceful. We are not from the city and our home is quieter as far as road noise so this was a bit disappointing for us as we really wanted the experience of being in a quiet peaceful mountain setting. We loved the little town of Tannersville which is 10 minutes away. Everyone was super friendly and there’s lots of good food! Def check out Maggie’s Krooked Cafe for breakfast. Pricey but delicious. If you’re going to hike Kaaterskill, know that parking is a nightmare and it’s VERY touristy. We also went to Woodstock and again very busy and touristy with some cool shops and a flea market. We preferred the quiet and antique shops in Tannersville.”
