“Amazing experience and highly highly recommend!! Especially for city people who want to be around so much space, nature, and be away from it all. Brenda is very welcoming, warm, hospitable, and kind. Such an amazing host. She wants to make the cabin accessible and could be asking way more given the price of other airbnb's in the area. But chose not to price gouge which shows how kind she is. She gets it how city people is in the thick of it all especially in the times we are at. Thank you Brenda :) The cabin has everything you need to feel cozy and at home, wifi, coffee and tea, coffee maker, skillet, microwave, electric kettle, water pitcher, plates and utensils, honey, sugar, heater, extra blankets and linens, a yoga mat, handsanitzer, etc. It's about a 15min drive to Thornbury where there are restaurants, bakery, TD Canada, etc. It's also about a 20min drive to the Blue Mountains, and a 30 min drive to Collingwood. I'm looking forward being able to stay at the cabin in the future!!”

“Dianne's place is a perfect getaway spot. My boyfriend and I have now visited twice, both in winter, because the scenery is so beautiful and the area is so peaceful. It has become our favourite spot. We so enjoyed being tucked away from the world, relaxing with Netflix, books, and warm meals. The apartment was spotless, and Dianne really puts thought into everything, from amenities to local tips. She and her family are friendly and chatted with us for a while, and they have very cute dogs! Everything about this space is perfect for two, and I have absolutely no criticism that I can report! We would highly recommend this spot, and would love to return again (maybe to check out a different season)!”
Quiet cul de sac in Brooke, near the Marina, with a great view of Georgian Bay. Easy access to the walking and bike path to downtown, along the water. Across from the Salmon Spectacular Tent, Summerfolk, and Kelso beach, with kids water feature.
“My husband, toddler and I stayed for just one night and it was perfect. As Virginia had warned us and as is clear in her posting, her place isn’t perfectly set up for small children because there are stairs inside and my little guy could cause trouble in the bathroom if we left the door open. But she generously allowed us stay the night anyways and it was exactly what we needed and for an excellent price (and we weren’t there long enough for my adventurous toddler to wreak any havoc!). She also was incredibly kind and even gave us a gift for our little guy! FYI, as is clear in the posting, it doesn’t have a big fridge/freezer or a stove/oven. So don’t miss that bit if you are requiring one! For us, we knew that’d be ok for our short stay and it was fine. The small fridge, hot plate, toaster oven and microwave were all we needed. Definitely would stay again for short stays with the toddler or longer ones without!”
