The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. Enjoy the hot tube in the evening and watch for the Northern Lights, then rest inside and amid wood paneling that extends to the vaulted ceilings, and look out forest-wards from the deck. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Húsið er á skjólgóðum stað og útsýni út á sjó og sést vel á Snæfellsnesið í góðu skyggni. Á veturna við rétt skilyrði, er mikill möguleiki á að sjá Norðurljós. Húsið er gamalt en allt ný tekið í gegn. Á svefnloftinu er 2 góðar dýnur (brattur stigi upp). Bjart og fallegt. Stutt á flugvöllinn, u.þ.b. 10 mínútur ( 9 km. ), og góð sundlaug í Sandgerði ( 2 km.)
