The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, on skis and by bike. There is an opportunity for hunting and fishing. Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of well-prepared ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine facilities in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes). Here you have proximity to activities in summer and winter.

Come and enjoy our new mountain villa with close proximity to unique nature experiences all seasons. We have built everything in our house ourselves with unique materials and craftsmanship. The house is located on the upper Storsätern with proximity to Grövelsjön, ski resort, grocery store, restaurants, etc. Hiking trails and trails can be reached directly adjacent to the area. Welcome to Mikkelbu, a sheltered family-friendly holiday home with plenty of space and good standard in proximity to nature with a private road. The cabin is located just 50 meters from a sheltered sandy beach and fishing lake with trout. The place is known for good fishing in summer and winter. There are also no visible neighboring cabins, the nearest cabin is about 300 meters away. The place was part of the renovation program "Adventurous renovation" in 2019 and has a very special atmosphere and great furnishings.

Quiet area with few neighbors and peaceful surroundings, close to forest and good fishing waters. Mobile WIFI and TV via Chromecast. Sheets/towels/firewood are not included, cleaning is done by the guest. Here you can enjoy hiking, cycling and skiing all year round! Car required.
