“Joelle is a wonderful host who was quick to respond to any questions I had and generously gave her time to answer my inquires about Todi and the surrounding area. Her accommodations are charming, luxurious and comfortable. She makes you feel right at home the moment you meet her. The location of her stylish and well appointed B&B is quite convenient. There is free public parking in a very safe area within 100 meters of her front door. The beautiful and historic town of Todi is at your feet once you arrive and restaurants and cultural experiences are all around. Joelle is a marvelous chef and the two breakfasts she prepared for me during my stay felt like holiday feasts. If you are searching for a unique place to stay while in Todi with the warmth of home I can highly recommend the Porta di Todi and Joelle.”

“For us, this Airbnb was the highlight of our holidays. Silvia should be made a national treasure. She is a sincere, caring, charming “host” (the term host does not truely describe Silvia). She is an Umbrian ambassador and will go to great lengths to ensure you are aware of the treasures to discover during your stay. She is also a brilliant chef, and able to give you a taste of the authentic Umbria, by arrangement. Her breakfasts are exceptional, and provided as standard. Silvia’s home is located centrally to so many priority destinations -Todi, Montefalco, Assisi, and many more (including a fascinating little village on a hill directly behind - be sure to go to the shop (there’s only one) and ask to see the museum). The accommodation is just beautiful- charming house very stylishly decorated. Very comfortable bed, lovely sitting areas indoors and outdoors. We stayed for eight nights and leaving Silvia’s was one of the hardest things we had to do on our holiday. Could not recommend highly enough.”
Home with indipendent entrance in Umbria style, completely furnished, surrounded by a beautiful and quiet garden. Here you can feel the typical environment of our region, make relaxing walk, and discover the traditional cooking.
“Rina's accommodation is a rustic and spacious studio apartment, obtained from an old renovated barn. He is independent but attached to his cottage, where Rina lives with her son and grandchildren. The place is enchanting: very quiet, immersed in the hills, with a beautiful panorama and above all you are greeted by several animals, very affectionate and docile, such as the two dogs and the cats. Behind the depandance there are also Rina's vegetable garden and chicken coop, where hens and geese are scratching about every now and then approaching the entrance of the annex for strolling in the courtyard. The kitchenette is a little uncomfortable but, given the area, it is worth trying the delicious restaurants around. The bathroom is small but functional and the accommodation is heated by a pellet stove which is absolutely sufficient to warm up - in case it is in winter - while in summer I imagine it is very cool, given the place and the stone with which it is made the annex. The location is perfect: in 30-50 min by car you can reach all the most interesting cities to visit: Todi (10 min), Perugia, Montefalco (where a local wine, Sagrantino, is produced, and where you can find delicious restaurants) , Orvieto, Assisi (wonderful to visit on foot). My husband and I are passionate about cooking and we often do food and wine tourism and we ate very well in this area of Italy, we recommend: the Il Pisciarello farm 5 minutes by car from Rina and Il Coccorone in Montefalco, both excellent. The last day, finally, we spent an afternoon in a spa, inside the Castle of Montignano, 5 minutes by car from Rina: at 35 euros you can spend 4 and a half hours between the Turkish bath, whirlpool and a large room relax with a huge fireplace lit in winter. Holiday highly recommended to all those who want to unplug, immerse themselves in nature, discover places and foods and forget about the telephone and the wi-fi.”
