Cozy farmhouse near forest and lake

We have renovated our farmhouse with knowledge of building maintenance, the environment and sustainability. The beautiful colours of egg oil tempera adorn the walls, and genuine linseed oil paint is a given in a house from the late 1800s. Nice tiled stoves provide pleasant warmth, and the kitchen is large and spacious. In winter, there are great conditions for cross-country skiing and downhill skiing at Romme alpin. An approximately 8 km long skating rink is plowed on our lake with access about 100 metres from the property. The house is situated near the towns of Falun and Borlänge.

You will have a nice stay in this comfortable accommodation that has been newly renovated. There is a double bed (180/200) and an extra bed (90/200) that can become another 90/200 (you can see in the pictures). Two adults and two children can comfortably stay in this accommodation. Bed linen and towels are included. Free parking by the house. 10-minute walk to Lugnet, 20-minute walk to the hospital. 5-minute walk to the nearest grocery store. 25-minute walk to Falun city centre. The house is located on the quieter side of the stadium, which means you avoid the worst traffic during competitions. On the property, there are horses and cats.

Villa with lower floor apartment with its own entrance. The host couple lives in the house. 200 meters to Lake Runn which offers plowed ice skating rinks in winter. In summer, there is a bar and an ice cream stand by the lake, as well as kayak rentals. We can lend you two simple bikes. (We also have two kayaks that can be rented if you let us know in advance) Close to Romme Alpin and Bjursås ski centres, about 30 minutes by car. 5 minutes to the city and Lugnet's sports facility.
