Stroll 10 min to downtown Nelson where you can find unique, authentic shops to browse. We are located in Uphill so the walk back up to the house is quite steep and can take up to 20/30 minutes. Rail Trail is located a short walk up Houston st. where you can walk your dog, go cross country skiing and enjoy Nelson’s incredible views. There is ample parking in the driveway.

A Peaceful and Private Studio Suite

A beautiful suite nestled in nature. It is located just outside of Balfour with access to the ferry landing, balfour store, a gas station and bakery. Ainsworth Hotsprings is a short 15 min drive, Kokanee Creek Provincial Park is 10 minutes away and Balfour Golf Course is even closer! Nelson and all its amenities is about a 25 minute jaunt. 4 wheel drive is recommended during winter weather as the last little stretch is a little steeper. Winter weather can be unpredictable.
