Vacation rentals with beach access in Hawaiian Islands

Our stay was wonderful, and the location was perfect. We were provided with nice Tommy Bahama chairs, an umbrella, and a beach bag, which was a great touch. It’s a fantastic option if you want to avoid the traffic and crowds of a hotel. My only suggestion is that they need assigned parking and newly painted spaces would be helpful. Returning at night, we sometimes found it difficult to find a spot due to other tenants not following the one-car-per-room rule or not parking at an angle, which was made harder by the old faded lines.

We loved our stay! The view is unbeatable and the tiki torches at night add to the ambiance. The place is clean, great location, and had all we needed. Many thanks to John for hosting us!

Super central spot in Maui to hang out and get to and from other areas on the island! There’s a pool, tennis courts, and a parking lot - quick drive to the airport, and no more than 30-40 minutes from the furthest spots that we wanted to check out to unwind for the rest of our Maui journey after Haleakala. Ample room in the living room, kitchen, and bedroom, and a great WiFi! There’s a basket of tennis balls and rackets, snorkel fins, masks, and even anti-fog. (Loved Ahihi-Kinau Nature Preserve!) Beach towels came in handy to stay dry afterwards too :) truly had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing stay! Make sure to keep tidy and listen to our hosts and don’t let any plates stay overnight as we spotted a couple of ants on a plate we left out by accident 😭 we were warned and it was true, after that we had no issues as we were careful in wiping down surfaces and washing our dishes right away. Lovely grounds. Easy to feel At home. Matt ( on site manager) went out of his way to make us feel at home, even brought us games to play with grandkids on a rainy day. Centrally located, coffee, fruit, and granola to get started. Washing on premises. We were not looking for a resort ( pools, restaurant on premise) this was able to feel like home, grill and eat outside.

We really loved this place! Everything was very comfortable and pleasant to stay in. I especially liked that there were various kitchen utensils, spices, and a good refrigerator. The large balcony was perfect for enjoying breakfast with the family. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again!

This was a great condo to stay at for our first trip to Maui. Very quiet. Very clean. Both my husband and I remarked on how comfortable the bed is. If you want to explore the island by car you are perfectly situated. But you also have a very low key beach right in front. We walked the beach for an hour and watched the sunrise every morning. Absolutely perfect.

We had a great stay at Anna’s condo unit, which placed us very close to the Waikiki strip and Ala Moana mall. One of the best things was walking across the street to the Hilton lagoon and Waikiki Beach. The condo was as advertised and had great views from both lanais. It was very clean and it even worked out to check in a bit early! A bit of patience is required for the elevators, depending on the time of day. We had a great stay overall and would stay again!

Very convenient and comfortable, well-appointed. The condo is on the shady side of the complex, which might be an important advantage in the summer months; it was not an issue now, although it was hard to find a sunny space to dry shoes. The general aspect was very pleasant, with very easy access to the beach, which is gently sloped and has calm waves. Easy highway access to drive to other places. The ceiling fans keep the rooms feeling cool; we were always comfortable. The (patio? lanai?) outside the living room was an extremely pleasant place to sit. The instructions warned about ants, but we saw none. Possibly the season, or the fact that we didn't cook much. The one thing I could have wished for was some specification in the description about the hardness of the mattresses. Preferences on this vary; we prefer very firm mattresses and these were somewhat soft, which caused problems for my wife's back.

Enjoyed the most mellow and relaxing vacation with my adult children. We walked daily on the great pathway and took in the blue ocean and the peaceful setting. The neighborhood was quiet and what I expected. We enjoyed eating at all the wonderful local places within a casual 20 minute walk. It was rainy this time of the year so sometime we just stayed and chilled in the awesome living room. The house is old so it has its charms but it felt like going to a beach house. There are plenty of windows and we slept with them open and it was very windy at night so we didn’t miss the a/c at all. We are from the Pacific Northwest, my son said he was surprised that 72 degrees could feel so cold and it was funny to see him wear his puffy jacket at times. Anyone staying here in the spring should probably bring a jacket because the wind and moisture can make it feel a lot colder than it should be due to being right next to the ocean. This is an excellent location overall.

First of all, the area was amazing!! Manini beach was literally a 2-3 minute walk down the road for great snorkeling (gear is provided, if you need it) with a path for some amazing sunsets. There are a couple of fruit stands in the neighborhood, which was great for my mother’s daily banana stroll. You can see the bay from the amazing lanai that we spent so much time on to watch the snorkelers, kayakers and dolphins. The house itself was great! Split into half, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on either side, separated by an open concept living room and kitchen. The dining room is outside…where else would you want to sit down and eat? There were A/Cs in the bedrooms if you needed them, but the ocean breeze was usually enough for most of my party. There were lots of spices in the cabinets for cooking and some staples leftover from past renters. The long, winding and narrow roads make some great scenery, but also make your trip to anywhere else a bit long. I would definitely stay again.

What an amazing place! 10min outside of Hanalei so it is quiet and peaceful. We loved going to bed and waking up to the ocean waves!

Absolutely stunning home…great location and furnished with pretty much anything you could ever need. Between the hammock, ping pong table, tree house, and beach toys, it’s hard to imagine that any place could possibly be more kid-friendly. Hosts were responsive and extremely accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again, and highly recommend this property.

We have had the most amazing stay in Hanalei - Rainbow House is everything we were hoping for and more. Surfing with Micco was the icing on the cake. We will be back to Hanalei soon and we plan on booking here again. From the quiet location to the convenience of being able to walk everywhere, we have been happy as clams on our family vacation! 8 thumbs up from a family of four.

"As Described" sounds like faint praise, but with rentals it's super important. this place delivered on everything advertised. Very spacious. The primary bedroom was set apart from the other two and had its own bathroom. We didn't use the exterior but it looked super cute with two sitting areas, front and back. AC was great. Kitchen was spacious too, which helped a lot. the nearby Coconut Market has really developed into something worth spending time in. Two close beaches, one small and private and one large with gentle shallows. The primary bed was super cushy. Tropical bugs can be an issue anywhere in Hawaii but they were well under control here, which was nice. We've been to the islands six times and likes this place a lot. Absolutely, definitely would stay again... and probably will.

Coconut Cottage was absolutely wonderful! A perfect, little hidden gem! The location could not have been better for our teen son and his friends. The cottage was exactly as described and offered everything we needed for our stay. We suffered a family emergency while there, and Susan was so understanding in assisting with our immediate needs. I am so sad that we had to cut our vacation short, but we cannot wait to return!

We had an amazing stay. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer! Mariah, Dani, and Juan were so welcoming. The house was perfect, and the location was ideal. We walked to get coffee and breakfast in the mornings, went to the farmers market on Wednesday night (get there early for the Sugarloaf Pineapples!), and strolled down the road to beautiful beaches and hiking trails. Lovely neighborhood with respectful neighbors. The hosts shared great recommendations, even for us who’ve spent a lot of time in Kauai. What a fantastic find! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us! Can’t wait to come back!

Wish we could have stayed longer. Place was so clean, convenient location in the building and easy in and out access to explore the surrounding areas. We felt right at home. Loved the balcony views. Washer and dryer are big and nice, perfect for us between stops on different islands. Kelly was super nice, communicative and responsive! Would absolutely come back.

Beautiful condo, very close to an amazing beach. Good amenities. The property management was quick to reach out and deal with anything. We had a lovely visitor we named frank the ghecko every morning while we ate our breakfast.

Vacation with Girlfriends. The view from the Lanai was incredible! Holly was always responsive and communicated with clear instructions. Wonderful place to stay!! We will return to this Beautiful Home that she shared!! Thank you Holly!!

We had a wonderful experience! The accommodations were perfect - beautifully decorated with a touch of Aloha with all the amenities for a comfortable staycation. Mahalo nui loa to the hosts! Communication was excellent with detailed information and quick responses. Thank you for the use of your place - the surrounding areas from the mountains to the ocean were spectacular! We take with us many fond memories!

Part of a condo group, next to (unpretentious) Beaches restaurant - which locals stated was "the best in Kona" - and only steps away from Magic Sands Beach. View out the double wide slider was to clear ocean surf, full of yellow tang and black trigger fish visible in most swells. There is no A/C but the fans (there were 5 but we really only need the two large ceiling fans) kept it very comfortable.) This was April and daytime temperatures were low 80's. All in all a very nice place hanging out or as a home base. Great location for Kona and the beaches north. About .1 mile to La'aloa St, which takes you up to Hwy 11 (bypass highway for north or south travel. I recommend for a group of 2.

We loved our stay here! Fabulous view of Kam 3 and the beautiful landscape, homey feeling condo with everything we needed, and very quiet surroundings. We had our 8 month old and eight year old kids and were pleasantly surprised with variety of kids stuff to use in the closet - lots of beach toys, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, high chair, pack and play, and baby bath. The condo was clean and Kris provided very clear instructions for all parts of our stay. We look forward to booking again in the future!

This place is a great find as it is close to the beach and restaurants. The only thing was interacting with the security to get a parking pass. He was an older man who acted very unprofessionally towards me as I was asking for a parking pass. He would give unnecessary comments like: "Put this pass in your car. We live in America, so the driver's side will be on your left." Luckily, I don't get offended easily, but this is just a heads up. Juliana and the location is great though! So the rating is still high and the security does not effect this rating.
