A wonderful experience overall. Very unique location. Very open to the wonderful Hawaiian nature. Highly recommend to those looking for something secluded and off the beaten path. Excellent, friendly host.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and well-maintained home. The ocean view from the balcony was stunning, and the house was tidy and comfortable. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly, making the experience smooth from start to finish. It’s a great base for exploring the island—just keep in mind that having a car is essential. Wonderful stay! Private, peaceful, gorgeous views. The Mango hut was added bonus to sit with morning coffee. Close to local beaches and close enough to Kona. We experienced local Hawaii, outdoor bathroom, the song of the frogs, the slower pace. All that we imagined.

Talk about an absolutely beautiful area with a cute little cottage to add the cherry on the cake. The cottage had ample space, privacy, and true character. Being able to listen to the coquis sing at night was music to my ears. Having the black sand beach nearby was also an amazing addition. I would 10/10 stay here again.

5 stars – A magical experience! The Gingerbread House was an absolute gem! Eve went above and beyond—like having a personal tour guide before we even landed. Her tips helped us discover parts of Maui we never would’ve found on our own. The house itself felt like a dreamy treehouse, full of charm and creative design ideas we want to take home. And the Sacred Garden right next door was such a peaceful bonus—we loved wandering through it. This stay was truly one-of-a-kind!

We recently stayed at this incredible cabin on the Big Island, and it was truly magical. The setting was serene and surrounded by nature, making it feel like a peaceful retreat tucked away from the world. The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy touches that made it feel like home. Every detail was thoughtful and well-appointed, and we felt instantly relaxed the moment we arrived. It’s the kind of place where you can sip your coffee while listening to the birds, then wind down by the fire after a day of exploring. We left feeling refreshed and full of gratitude for such a special experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience the beauty and calm of the Big Island.

The suite is in a beautiful, serene setting. It was meticulously clean and a perfect set up for the two of us. The kitchenette was well stocked and, though we did not use the BBQ grill, it was easily accessible just outside of the suite. The botanical gardens are a short drive or lovely walk away. Hilo is a quick drive and has restaurants and grocery stores. The location is wonderful for enjoying nature and exploring other parts of the island. We would definitely book again the next time we are in the area. Highly recommend.

Really unique and relaxing place. Karen and Ron were very welcoming and hospitable. We seemed to be there on the rare days when the sky was dumping buckets, so the outdoor areas got a little damp. The kitchen is fully equipped, bed super comfortable. Bathroom and shower are awesome. The backyard and entire decoration on the property are just amazing. Quick walk to Manini beach with awesome snorkeling and knowledgeable friendly caretakers. Things to note, as it is noted in the description: this is glamping. You're out in nature, geckos chase each other on the walls while you eat, flies, mosquitos, spiders, ants all exist. Birds wake you up with their songs at first light, etc. TL;DR Would visit again

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this cabin a lot. It is located close to the Vulcanoe National Park. Be ware, that this is a very remote location. There are no neigbours or shops nearby. I enjoyed the hot shower outside. The toilet outside was also a new experience, however, the mosquitos may be annoying. A small kitchen is available in the basement of Jessies house, 150 m walk through the garden. Jessie and Tom are very nice and helpful.

Ein absolut traumhafter Aufenthalt! Das Ferienhaus liegt mitten in der Natur und bietet eine wunderbare Ruhe – morgens wird man vom Zwitschern der Vögel geweckt. Alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, was eine sehr gemütliche und einladende Atmosphäre schafft. Besonders genossen haben wir die Badewanne auf dem Balkon mit Blick ins Grüne sowie den Grill, den wir abends gerne genutzt haben. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und zugleich zurückhaltend – die Privatsphäre der Gäste wird hier wirklich respektiert. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Mark and Mina's apartment. The place was very well set-up and spacious enough for two. We especially loved the patio outside, which offered a stunning view of the ocean. Despite being on the hosts’ property, we had a great sense of privacy throughout our stay. The apartment came with a dryer and washer, which was very convenient. We also appreciated having beach accessories at our disposal, including towels, body boards, and snorkeling gear. The covered parking space was a great addition. Mark and Mina gave us a warm welcome and provided some excellent recommendations for places to visit in Kona. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to explore the west side of Big Island. The only thing to note is that the kitchen is suitable for basic cooking only, as there is just one burner.

We had such a wonderful stay in Volcano - we loved all the amenities provided and really made use of everything. The back porch is beautiful and tranquil. We grilled outside the first night and had a drink next to the fire table before relaxing in the hot tub. It was so great to have breakfast provided each day before exploring Volcano national park, and it was awesome Pamela and Kenzie were able to accommodate my partner being celiac / gluten free. I hope we have an excuse to stay here again in the future!

The Flower Bed was one of the most unique places I have ever stayed. I needed a place to lay my head and rest for one night and came across Laura’s listing. The photos looked gorgeous, the location worked well, it had amenities I wanted, and the price was reasonable, so I decided to book. I am so glad that I did. Laura’s check-in instructions were so clear and the directional photos in the app were super helpful, too. Even when arriving in the dark of night, I was able to easily find the location due to the detailed directions provided. When I pulled in, I was greeted by the beautiful view of the Flower Bed all lit up by the cute string lights that line the edges of the dwelling. Once inside, I was struck by how homey it felt right from the get go. Laura has it decorated so well. It’s such a cozy little space. The outdoor shower was actually very enjoyable with the warm water. And the outdoor toilet was super clean and comfortable to use. Thank you so much Laura & fam! :-)

What an incredible find - tucked in the hills and trees above Kailua Kona, parrots singing at dusk, it is an absolute dream escape. Treats on arrival, beach chairs + umbrella + cooler + snorkel gear made available making beach time luxurious, nice hot shower w good pressure, very functional kitchen and a grill, hot tub always ready - what more can you want?

Everything was perfect. Very well equipped and considered AirBnB. We got a lot of extra baby and children stuff. The communication withAki and Aaron was very good. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a fantastic stay at this hidden tropical gem. The location is walkable to the local town restaurants and shops, and a short drive to Kailua Kona. No ac required in April since nights are chilly and breezy during the day. Sunsets were spectacular from the lanai or living room. Night time was filled with the sounds of the frogs and smell from the night blooming flowers. I recommend getting an suv for a car rental since the roads are kinda rough. Also watch out for neighborhood cats and chickens that roam the streets. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

This is a beautiful place and our family and little dog felt right at home. Kitchen had everything we needed, linens were very soft, and the outdoor rain shower was amazing. There was also a friendly calico cat that visited us every day and the large lanai was amazing. Walking to the gorgeous mermaid ponds was so special. We were sad to leave and will definitely return.

This bungalow was absolutely quaint and adorable—so peaceful, private, and surrounded by the lush beauty of Hawaiian nature and palm trees. Abbie was a wonderful host, super responsive to any questions we had and made the stay easy and enjoyable. There was so much to explore in the area, and having Kehena Beach just minutes away was such a treat. Everyone in town was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. I’ll definitely be coming back! Mahalo!

This was such a lovely stay! Jenni’s place was so clean & beautiful. I have never stayed in an Airbnb that was as well stocked as this one. The location was perfect — a short walk from restaurants & the water & close to everywhere we wanted to go.

The accommodations is a two-story house, and there are beautiful plants and singing birds around the place. The host lives around the place. We had a comfortable stay at this place. If you are planning to go to Kona city and the nearby ocean, and Kilauea Volcano Park, I recommend this place. This place is located in the middle of the volcano park when going counterclockwise from Kona city.

Beautiful place, looked just like the pictures! Peaceful and quiet, all the furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. They provided nice touches throughout to make you feel at home.

What a cool spot! Staying in the treehouse was such a cute adventure, nice to get a taste of off grid living in such a beautiful and peaceful location. Perfect for a couple's stay. Just watch out because the trap door to get in is surprisingly heavy ;)

I loved this place. Very quiet. Great location. The private courtyard was so peaceful. I very much enjoyed watching the lizards and birds. Nature serenaded me to sleep every night. It had everything I needed. The walkable cafe had great food and coffee. Claire was friendly and responsive. I had a great stay. Highly recommend.
