Ratings and rankings for co-hosts on the Co-Host Network

The Co-Host Network connects hosts with local co-hosts to help manage their listings. Co-hosts are experienced hosts who can help with specific services like guest messaging and managing reservations, or they can offer full support to help a host care for their home and guests.

To help hosts find the right co-host, the network shows details about co-hosts, including guest ratings for the listings they support. It also uses a search algorithm that connects hosts with co-hosts who offer the services they’re looking for.

How guest ratings for co-hosts work

The network shows overall guest ratings for co-hosts based on homes they’ve hosted or co-hosted. It might also show category-specific ratings (like ease of check-in), number of stays supported, and whether a listing is a Guest Favorite.

A few things to keep in mind about ratings and reviews:

• They might not be representative of services that a co-host provides, as they may not be specific to the co-host’s individual activities or responsibilities
• They might reflect other considerations from a guest
• There could be multiple co-hosts on a listing
• Superhost status only looks at guest ratings and activities where the co-host is the listing owner. It doesn’t consider co-host activities

How Co-Host Network ranking works

The network uses an algorithm that considers several factors, including:

• Co-host’s services and hosting data, like ratings, reviews, and the types of listings they host or co-host
• Engagement, including how often prospective hosts view a co-host’s services profile
• Where co-hosts and listings are located
• Host’s profile and listing information, including their history on Airbnb, their ratings and reviews, and the type of listings they have and where they’re located

The Co-Host Network is currently available in Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Spain, and the United Kingdom (powered by Airbnb Global Services); Canada, the United States (powered by Airbnb Living LLC); and Brazil (powered by Airbnb Plataforma Digital Ltda).
