Note that the Guest Travel Insurance product is distributed and provided by our partners Aon Iberia Correduria de Seguros y Reaseguros S.A.U. (“Aon Iberia”) and Europ Assistance S.A., Irish Branch (“Europ Assistance”), who act as independent data controllers of your personal data.

We retain information related to the Guest Travel Insurance program for a period of four years to fulfil our contractual obligations to you and improve your experience on the Airbnb platform.
As explained above, in order to provide Guest Travel Insurance, we share the Personal Information We Collect with Aon Iberia and Europ Assistance. We have established the necessary means to ensure an adequate level of data protection for any information transferred outside the EU. For any information transferred from the EU to the United Kingdom a European Commission adequacy decision applies. We have also put in place standard contractual clauses within Airbnb and with the relevant third parties to protect personal data and comply with data protection law. We will provide further information on the means to ensure an adequate level of data protection, such as a copy of the EU Model Clauses, on request.
