When a guest asks to visit before booking
Your safety and comfort are just as important as those of your guests. If someone asks to visit your place prior to booking, let them know it’s not possible. For safety, Airbnb only releases contact information for hosts and guests after a reservation is confirmed.
Other ways for guests to get a sense of your place
Make sure your listing is up to date and encourage guests to review your listing description and photos. You can suggest they check out other guests' reviews and offer to answer any additional questions they might have.
Stay protected on the Airbnb platform
Be sure to keep all messages and booking and payment directly on the Airbnb website or app. This helps ensure your protection under the many safeguards we have in place for you.
