Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Henningsvær

The house is located on a beautiful hill overlooking the ocean & surrounding mountains, but with winter conditions a good car is definitely recommend. It’s cozy & the bedroom with the fireplace and chairs overlooking the area is stunning. Things to improve: Include timber (the owner was so kind & brought us some because we didn’t know we have to bring our own), maybe lower the price a little bit, the check in & checkout times & also making the beds ourselves we hoped it would be included in the amount of money we paid. But that’s only our opinion and we would definitely come back because we felt very comfortable in the house! Good distance to beaches, a nice coastal walk & also Leknes :)

What an incredible stay! Elin and her husband Hans were absolutely amazing. This was our first time in Lofoten and Hans helped us find everything in the house, made sure we were safe, and even helped us to filet a fish we bought from a local fisherman! One evening after a long hike, we came back to a tray of homemade cinnamon rolls baked by Elin that were some of the best I've had. Super clean, cozy and affordable house and the hosts' hospitality is incredible! Staying in Hans and Elin's place made this trip unforgettable.

Wow, what an incredible experience. All the comfort and modern luxury set amongst the harsh environment makes for memories that will last a very long time. Our entire family enjoyed our stay immensely. Everything about the accommodation was very well thought out, practical, modern, comfortable, fully equipped and visually stunning. Credit to Cato & Solveig for putting so much love and effort into turning this piece of history into something that anyone who cares to visit to enjoy. The were lovely hosts to interact with. Ένα από τα πιο όμορφα σπίτια που έχω μείνει σε υπέροχη τοποθεσία πάνω στα νερά. το νησί είναι πανέμορφο και το σπίτι έχει ο,τι χρειάζεστε για μια τέλεια διαμονή. είναι φτιαγμένο με απλότητα και εξαιρετικό γούστο.

Wir haben uns in diesem gemütlichen und modern eingerichteten Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Da wir im Winter da waren haben wir den direkt ans Haus angeschlossenen Carport sehr zu schätzen gewusst, um jederzeit trocken ins Haus zu kommen. Es ist zentral auf Lofoten gelegen, ein Supermarkt ist im Ort, im nahen Leknes gibt es viele weitere Läden. Die Gastgeber waren jederzeit erreichbar und haben uns Tipps zum Sehen der Nordlichter gegeben. Diese Unterkunft kann man sorgenfrei buchen. Wir hoffen sehr, dass wir eines Tages wieder kommen!

We had an amazing stay at Kine's place! Kine was such a friendly and responsive host, making sure everything was perfect for our stay. The atmosphere of the house was fantastic, and it comfortably fit all five of us. The location is stunning, with incredible views right in front of the jetty. The home appliances were also top-notch, making our stay even more convenient and comfortable. To top it off, we were able to watch the northern lights from the yard – an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and scenic getaway.

Nice place where we had a great time. good to have 2 bathrooms. Showers at the both level would had been perfect! Would definitely recommend!

Great location for visiting the west part of Lofoten. Historical fishing town that is worth the visit, just take into account that supermarkets are therefore a 20min drive away. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen and bathroom (washing machine) as well as the elaborate hikes that are available in the area. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Our trip was a mix of working remotely and hiking. Tone's place is in a great location for many beautiful hikes and makes the driving manageable each day. For the days I worked, the internet was fast and I could do everything I needed to. It's also within walking distance to the grocery store and a small cafe. The neighborhood is as quiet and safe as you can get. We arrived late, and check-in was easy. Tone was very responsive before and during the trip. We had rain a few days during our trip and it feels spacious and cozy inside for two. The ladder to the loft is a bit steep and awkward and it's easy to accidentally hit your head on the beam at the top. For those with mobility issues, it could be challenging to get up and down. Overall, we're glad we stayed here and would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here. Everything was just as described and pictured. Elisabeth’s place was very comfortable, cozy, and warm. Our cat host was wonderful and super snuggly as well ☺️ Elisabeth was great at communicating and gave us lots of great suggestions. We were able to see the northern lights from the yard and the neighbor even gave us a great suggestion for a hike we did the next day. Would stay here again if we ever get the chance!

An amazing piece of architecture with a beautiful view, and in a perfectly located spot. This was one of our favorite stays on any of our travels so far. Right off the main road for easy access to come and go, and a grocery right down the road. We also saw the northern lights almost every single night we stayed, and never left the house to find them because the views are just that good from this home. You can even view them over the ocean while lying in bed which is very magical and *warm*. The kitchen had everything we needed for a week long stay as well. Can’t wait to come back and bring our friends and family to stay at this house! Book this, you definitely won’t regret it.

The house is very well cared for and beautifully situated with great views and access to a cool walk along the water. It sits at the end of a road in a quirky local neighborhood. It has everything you need including a washer and dryer, a lovely modern bathroom with a large tub and separate shower. Great base to see lots of popular hikes. Also very close to the super cute village of Nusfjord. The only problem was staying up way too late each night to look out the windows.

De woning heeft inderdaad een uitzicht dat je niet vaak zal tegenkomen en is voorzien van alle luxe die je maar wenst. Veel privacy, licht lucht en ruimte op een paar km van de plaats Stokmarknes. In deze plaats vind je alle hoognodige zaken met name in één van de vele supermarkten. Het brood bij de locale bakker is heerlijk. Het is dus een uitstekend vertrekpunt voor sightseeing en een van de vele indrukwekkende wandelingen in de Vesteralen.

Nous avons passé une semaine chez Angela et Kenneth, ce sont des hôtes attentifs, réactifs, arrangeants et très charmants. Nous nous sommes sentis à l’aise, la maison est très calme et la literie formidable. Difficile de quitter, il y a beaucoup d’endroits encore à explorer, hâte d’y revenir. Ein tolles Haus, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Mit allem, was man benötigt und sich vorstellt. Ein kleines Problem mit dem Wasser durch den plötzlichen Wintereinbruch konnte dank einer sehr schnellen Kommunikation und Reaktion behoben werden. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Ganz herzlichen Dank

We had a great stay in Eggum! We liked the peaceful location. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Our kid particularly enjoyed the toy trains when we were in the house :)
