This very nice adobe home is right next to the lovely and peaceful Pecos river. This is a great place for Trout fishing , or just relax watching the river flow by, and maybe take a little dip in the warmer days. There are lots of shade trees and areas to sit on this large property that has 300 feet of river frontage. This property is located in the Santa Fe National forest, which offers more fishing and hiking trails. Hunters are also welcome. Santa Fe is a 30 minute drive .
“This Airbnb was above and beyond what we expected. Stepping in, you can just smell how clean the space was (we appreciated this)! Kitchen had goodies like popcorn and coffee, and nice-to-haves like chicken stock and butter. We saw a hummingbird and a stellar jay by the bird feeder outside while we were inside the kitchen enjoying breakfast. Took two steps into the water and caught brown trout. The yard is HUGE and we definitely made use of the back porch. We also loved the fireplace and the provided firewood. The house is off of the main highway so you can expect the soothing sounds of the river to be the only thing you’ll be hearing during your stay. I’d also like to mention that the Dollar General in town is the nicest weve ever shopped at (clerk offered us hand sanitizer after shopping too!) and was super convenient to the Airbnb.”

“Joanne's home is a gem amid the Pecos Wilderness. We needed a place to stay for a week, and were lucky to find Joanne's home. The guest suite has its own entrance and is equipped with everything necessary to cook full meals (using skillet / slow cooker), stay warm (kiva fireplace) and enjoy local sights - a great spot to watch the sunrise from and also visit the Pecos National Monument. Santa Fe is just 20-30 minutes away, and there are many hikes in between. We forgot some items in the drawers, which Joanne was generous to ship to us the very next day. A beautiful and peaceful oasis. Thank you Joanne!”

“Rancho de Fey is a premiere getaway destination that is now on my list of favorites. The oil lamp is really cool! Wi-Fi works fine but this is a place to unplug and play some horseshoes, climb a mountain, treat yourself. The kitchen was great for cooking meals, the pond was nice for walks at sunset and sunrise, Derek is talented at being available but not intrusive. The water is fine to drink, bring bottled if you’re picky.”
