Our garden invites you to linger. The Schaumburg region has a lot to offer: e.g. Bückeburg Castle, Wilhelm Busch birthplace, Steinhuder Meer, Dino Park,... Mittelland Canal and Weser invite you to bike tours, the Bückeberge to hike. From Kirchhorsten train station you can reach Hannover/Messe in just over 1 hour

Emil's Winkel am Wald invites you to enjoy the tranquility with us at Wald am Bückeberg. Make yourself comfortable in a 1-room apartment with its own kitchen and bathroom with shower and washer-dryer, which we have furnished with love and care. In addition, we have purchased furniture made of recycled wood and the upholstery is made of recycled plastic :-) You are welcome in our garden and can pick some fresh herbs for dinner. Our idyllic cottage from 1730 is located in the middle of the old village center of Wilkenburg (Hemmingen), surrounded by a nature reserve. A breathtaking swimming lake (100 m) and many paths into nature are just a stone's throw away. The city center of Hanover, the Maschsee and the Hanover trade fair can be reached in a 5-10 minute drive. Hanover main station: 8.5 km, airport: 30 km Trade fair: 5.5 km A small country bakery and a private horse farm are just around the corner.

Nature & active in Schaumburger Land, North Sea

Welcome to Nordsehl, a village on the Mittelland Canal and the Schaumburger Wald, between Bückeburg, Steinhuder Meer and the Deister. Here you will find wonderful local recreation, an opportunity for long walks and bike rides (Fürstenroute, Weserradweg, Wilhelm Busch Route). The Mittelland Canal is fishing area and has a boat entrance for your sports or rowing boat near us In rainy weather, there are alternatives such as the water park or the indoor mini-golf course.

Newly built basement apartment near the train station and castle. A fully equipped kitchen with hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and toaster allow culinary evenings in the dining area, or on the large terrace with gas grill all the freedom. The new sofa bed is equipped with a full mattress. SmartTV with Prime, Disney, rtl+ and Alexa accompany the relaxation. In the bathroom there is a rain shower, a urinal and a washer-dryer.

I rent a small cozy 1-room apartment with a separate entrance right in the center of town. At the top under the roof you will find a living room-bedroom with a small desk, armchairs and a 140 x 200 bed, a spacious bathroom and a kitchen. Bakeries, supermarkets and shops are in the immediate vicinity. The bedroom opens out to the garden and is so beautifully quiet. Stadthagen train station is a 20-minute walk. A bike can be rented on request.

Chalet Schaumburg

Our cozy half-timbered chalet between Bückeburg (7.5 km) and Stadthagen (7 km) offers peace and relaxation amidst fields and meadows. A supermarket, bakery and other shops are only 400 m away. The chalet has two sleeping options, a kitchenette and a glazed area with fireplace. A natural stone terrace invites you to relax. Horses at the farm especially delight children. Free parking available, parties not allowed, quiet hours from 10 pm.

My mono Teuto

NEW: Right next to "Mono" is another house, "Nest in the Forest." You can also visit. Or both… “Mono” is a trailer that was converted decades ago. In the course of a complete renovation, it received a timber frame skeleton all around in 2020 (new roof, new insulation, etc.) and thus a first floor. Size: 3.20 by 13 meters. It is called "Mono" because its exterior, like every room inside, is mainly determined by one color.
