Our cottage is a beautiful Arts and Crafts style home located on the Allegheny River, just north of Foxburg, PA. The kitchen and bath are newly redone and the rest of the house refinished keeping in mind the period of construction.
“Beautiful location and charming 1929 cottage furnished with antiques and accents from a time long ago. The setting could not be more picturesque . While definitely not modern it is not advertised as such and the host provides everything you need and more including wi-fi. We loved our stay. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the area. Hope to return soon.”
Located on top of the hill above Foxburg and the Foxburg Golf course (the oldest operating golf course in USA) There are: 2 restaurants in Foxburg: “The Allegheny Grill” (lunch and dinner) and “Foxburg Pizza” ( 8 am for breakfast, closed at 8 pm.) Dogs are welcome at our house, but not at the Allegheny Grill.
“Beautiful stay at the top of a road in a quaint lovely town. Very welcoming and charming. We appreciated that the owner helped us carry our elderly dog into the guest house after we mistakenly missed that there are stairs to the 2nd floor suite. It had lovely décor and everything we needed for the night. Their dog Rusty was very nice and a joy to meet. A perfect place to stay, thank you. Would stay again.”
Gorgeous secluded log cabin with hot tub on 17 wooded acres . Local amenities include 2 golf courses, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, bike trails, Foxburg restaurants & winery, and fishing. Also, 45 mins. from Cook Forest State Park. Beautiful wooded surroundings.
“Master Cabin was perfect. My girlfriend and I needed a weekend getaway and this cabin was exactly what we were looking for. We explored the area and used the booklet provided by Dave at the cabin as our guide. We brought our mountain bikes and explored the Allegheny Bike trail. We took a bike ride through Foxburg, stopped at the Winery and Pizza Shop. We then biked our way over to the Kennerdell tunnel and freedom falls for the amazing views. The hot tub was perfect and Dave was very helpful with explaining everything we needed to know about the cabin. The fire pit was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. I hope the weather is just as nice next time we stay!”
