“This property is absolutely stunning, and is by far my favorite airbnb experience to date. There are so many different areas to relax and spend time that are just lovely including around the firepit riverside, on the deck overlooking the river, on the patio enjoying a meal cooked on the grill, in the screened in porch enjoying coffee in the morning looking out into the river. Having so many areas to relax really added to the experience. Having access to kayaks to explore the river was a delight. John introduced himself to my partner and I, and was a joy to talk to. He extended an open invitation to explore the chicken coop and to meet their dogs, and that was a special treat. There are so many beautiful hikes within a short distance. I truly enjoyed my time here, and am already looking forward to visiting again.”

“There are not enough words to describe the AMAZING stay we had at David’s place!! The cabin was so peaceful and quiet!! You could probably describe it as a bit “rustic”, yet very modern, with all the amenities of home. Super clean! AC was good (we needed it, as it was fairly warm while there...even for us Florida folks), and I would love to visit here at a time of year that you could open the windows!! It’s back at the end of the host’s driveway, and the only things we heard, were the sounds of the “country” that we wanted to hear. The breeze, birds, a deer snorting one morning, and the neighbor’s goats (they were down the road a bit and not annoying at all) lol. The front porch should have a review all of it’s own, but I’ll save any comment, and just let you thoroughly enjoy sitting on it when you get there, as we did!! : ) Kitchen had utensils needed to cook, coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher. Washer and dryer worked great for our stinky mountain biking clothes. Water for the shower was hot within seconds of turning it on. We were able to store our expensive mountain bikes in the secure garage. David stopped by to see us when we arrived, and told us if we needed anything to give him a shout. He checked in with us via message a couple times during the stay as well. I could write a book, but I think I hit the most important points. If you want a BEAUTIFUL place to stay, out in the country, but also not too far away from a lot of different things, then this is your place!!! The pictures and description David has for this place are good, but to experience it is indescribable. HIGHLY recommend!! Thanks again David!!!”
Beautiful, secluded Log Cabin near Tellico Plains TN. Formerly Creekside Melody. Cabin is located within the boundaries of Cherokee National Forest on 5 acres right on Steer Creek. Sit on the front or back porch and watch the songbirds at the feeders. Hot tub, pool table, wifi, phone and satellite TV. There are many outdoor things to do in the area, hiking, fishing, waterfalls, kayaking and more. We would love for you to come and stay at our cabin. Mark & Linda
“I would give our overall experience 10 stars if I could. This cabin is exactly what our family needed. It was quaint and lovely. The drive to the cabin has no cell service (AT&T) however the address being plugged into GPS takes you right there. We loved seeing the dairy cows and horses on our drive in, and how remote this cabin was. You feel one with nature here. The creek in the backyard is peaceful and beautiful. We loved splashing around in it, playing in the yard and using the hot tub. Inside you will find every comfort of home and some great games. The WiFi is very slow and there isn’t cell phone service so be aware that a “working vacation” would be nearly impossible here as I couldn’t connect to any of our Zoom meetings... which was actually pretty great in hindsight. The proximity to Cherokee National Forest was fantastic and we loved hiking and driving throughout the National Forest.”
