Or find peace on the water with our canoes, recommended! Our atmospheric cottage is located in the back of the garden, and is built from the old building materials from the old auction of Avenhorn. Conveniently located 10-40 km from: Hoorn-Enkhuizen-Medemblik, Edam-Volendam-Marken. But certainly also Alkmaar, the Zaanse schans, Amsterdam and not to forget, the coast of Noord Holland.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Our rural apartment 'de BolleWies' is suitable for max. 4 persons, has 2 bedrooms, a living room, bathroom, a separate kitchen and hall. Outside you will find the private garden, with a shed for your bicycles. You can enjoy the peaceful surroundings on the terrace. A great holiday location for a cycling or walking holiday. You are centrally located between the cozy and atmospheric towns of Alkmaar, Hoorn and Schagen. Within 20 km you are at the sea, but also at the IJsselmeer.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. With the modern country decor, you will immediately feel at home! The terrace is south facing, so you can enjoy the sun all day. The large garden is fully fenced, so you have a nice private space. The park has a swimming pool, tennis court, etc. The park is centrally located in Noord-Holland. From the bungalow, you can quickly get anywhere. There is a folder available with many possibilities and tips for things to do.

Dream away in the hot tub (optional €45 first day/€25 next days, will be stoked for you) under the stars and enjoy the silence. Wake up with sunrise and a view over the meadows. Deck and wheelhouse in Hoorn (parking available)

The deck-house and wheelhouse in the back of a former sailing cargo-ship van 1888 is transformed into a small apartment . The rest of the boat is a shop with sailing / marine equipment and a bunker station. The entrance is due to the age of the ship a small steep stair, keep that in mind. The surrounding is a lively harbor with sail-ships and cruise-ships. There is a parking available for €5 - a night very closeby. So enjoy the sound and movements of the water!

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.
