Super nice house and nice quiet location to relax and come down! We felt right at home and were totally impressed by the accommodation. Restaurants, grocery stores, bakers and a small beach bar in the vicinity and total idyll. Many beautiful hiking routes from the property even without a car. The house was super equipped and totally well coordinated. Every corner of the house invited you to relax. Felix and Holger were friendly, uncomplicated and quickly accessible. We definitely recommend it! Not unlikely that we will come again:)

We had a lovely Easter weekend with 8 people in Norbert and Rabea's cottage! It is located in a quiet area, within half an hour's drive you have various nice places and activities nearby. Tip: Natura Gart in Ibberburen and the CityPark of Emsdetten for a nice picnic with playground for children. The Hockendes Weib is also recommended for a challenging walk. The cottage is cozy, clean and equipped with everything! The extra bath upstairs is a plus as well as the pellet stove that provides pleasant warmth and atmosphere. Thanks so much for the pleasant stay and the kindness!

Had a wonderful stay, the cottage was beautiful and cozy! Anything you need is here. A nice shower, nice coffee and super nice that the dog was welcome! When you are upstairs (the bedroom) it is a bit noisy, with a fairly busy road in the morning, but downstairs it is quieter. All in all, a nice stay!

We stayed on site for 3 nights in March 2025 and it was fantastic. Despite the "main" location (was less busy than some cul-de-sacs) it was quiet and idyllic. The neighbors were very friendly, the bakery right around the corner and the Dümmer See 10 min. by car. The furnishings are suitable for the house selected traditional and quaint. The two gardens were also a dream and we will miss them the most. Thank you for everything.

A beautiful place to find peace and unwind. We were able to relax here with our association but also work wonderfully. We have already been to one another twice. The weekend for next year is already booked. Fully recommend.

Thanks to the detailed information about the apartment and the check-in, we had a great stay and were able to fully enjoy our time. Our host answered all our questions very quickly. The description and photos match and we didn't miss anything. The location was great - just a few steps from the rehab and about 5-10 minutes' walk to downtown. We were even greeted at Christmas time with a chocolate Santa Claus. If we visit Bad Essen again, we will definitely choose this apartment again!

We stayed here for one night with the family at short notice and were very satisfied. In particular, the communication with Hardy & Eva before and during the stay was always quick, nice and very eager. There were a few quirks in the house, such as the sauna door, which warps a little during weather fluctuations and therefore needs to be opened jerkier - or one or the other remote control you need to activate the outdoor heater, for example, which is not on the information sheet. All in all but highly recommended 👍🏻🙂

Margot is very welcoming and had made us a welcome package. The area is beautiful, you can walk from the cottage into the woods. The fenced garden is wonderfully spacious for yourself and the dogs. What a nice and pleasant cottage, everything you need was there. We had a very good time. It is also a very nice park with everything to do for everyone. The indoor pool was cold, it is not completely enclosed. In short, we enjoyed it and will probably come back again

What a wonderful weekend we had, Sina's parents, Erika and Helmut, are very welcoming, helpful and cozy. Reception with "kaffee und Kuchen", every day the cozy tile fireplace was lit for us, homemade liqueur, fresh eggs on arrival.... Accommodation is complete and clean. Hereditary Willi greets you kindly. Lovely garden to relax in. Surroundings are beautiful, varied forests and peat areas nearby, lots of wildlife and birds spotted, beautiful walks made with our dog. Recommended !!

We are coming from the south and wanted to stay a night close to Emmen because we were going to the zoo. We were warmly welcomed by Rene and felt very welcome. The chalet is located on a small-scale and quiet campsite and is super cozy. Our daughter of almost 2 also liked it very much and camping cot and high chair were also present, plus! We also enjoyed sitting in the sun in the garden by the chalet. We had a nice weekend and definitely recommend this accommodation!

We stayed at this property for the second time. The fact that we were happy to come back again speaks for itself. Accommodation is highly recommended, especially for small groups.

We spent the holidays in Dissen and the apartment was great! Everything was well maintained, super furnished and clean. Tue communication was also very good.

I was Kunterbunt with my 3 year old son for one night. It was a super nice experience, we all grilled together and made stick bread. A great place to stay for both kids and adults. You can either cuddle socializing and animals or enjoy nature and the beautiful tiny house. We felt so warmly welcomed, we will be happy to come back!

Great stopover during our travel from Germany to Netherlands. House was very comfortable and easy to check-in. Great coffee machine!

There were two of us with a dog at the property for a weekend trip. Beautiful large meadow for the dog and the sunny terrace is great!😍 There is a fantastic walk nearby.

We had an incredibly nice quiet break at this property, where our furry friend was also welcome. The immediately adjacent forest always invited you for walks. The space is well maintained and even had electric shutters and screens. We felt right at home. Tim and Stefanie are great hosts and we can highly recommend this beautiful house by the forest. Just a nice quiet location. And there is so much space, i can't even find words for how big the room we got was. It was just perfect. Also very nice hosts, always responsive and helpful. Also nice location, just 15-20 min into the city.
