Although it is near a well-used parking area for Mt Emily Rec Area, it was still peaceful and we enjoyed a pleasant chat and book reading on the porch, saw a doe with two yearlings and a female turkey. The home is simply goregous inside and out with a fabulous, well-marked kitchen, an ADA shower in one bathroom, luxury accomodations, a great find for a retreat, a BBQ party, a family stay, or even a winter vacation. It is near enough to LaGrande for dinner out, catch a movie, or a visit to Hot Lake. The windows are plentiful and the entire home is designed for glamping. We were impressed with the cleanliness, the details, and the setting. We were four older ladies enjoying a bible retreat and had a great weekend. We will return and suggested it for our men's group. Nearby was an archery shoot so there are possibilities of recreation. The drive to took us past horses and colts. It was fun.

Nadine's place was a nice place for us to stay while watching our daughter play at EOU. There are a lot of stairs to get in the upstairs apartment, which is shown in the pictures. It wasn't a surprise. The living room seating was comfortable and so was the largest room's bed. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen. It was a nice place to stay.

The place was comfy. Had everything we needed felt right at home. It was clean. Instructions were clear. Host was great easy to get a hold of. Love the creek in the backyard. I wish we could’ve stayed longer just to enjoy the sound of the creek. The kids enjoyed it as well. We will definitely stay again if we come back in town.

This house was a great Airbnb stay for our family. Extremely clean and lovely space to be in. Bright and cheerful decor, Comfortable beds, Lots of extra amenities. Clear and simple check in/check out process. Sarah was very responsive and flexible. We will definitely return for a stay here when visiting our EOU student! This is THE place to stay if your looking to get to know La Grande or if your looking to attend a function at EOU. EVERYTHING is close. The campus is walkable. Downtown is walkable. The house has a well laid out and stocked kitchen. A great dining space and a spot on the back deck to drink your morning coffee. The views from the windows are of the mountains and the cozy neighborhood around the house. The hosts were helpful and quick to respond to any questions and you could tell they made this place with thoughtfulness for their guests. My kids and I loved it. Plenty of room for the kiddos to run in the backyard and play spots in the house, and also wonderful couches for me to sit and read and, again, drink coffee. (I like my caffeine) Highly recommended place for whatever reason you are visiting La Grande.

I always enjoy staying at Brian’s airbnb - it’s one of my favorite. The property and hiking trails are amazing and perfect for my dog walks. The house is fully stocked with everything you need and is very spacious. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom with a washer/dryer. Very peaceful property with creekside chairs, fire pit and picnic table. I highly recommend this spot! Brian is a great host.

We had an amazing experience with Lori! The space is beautiful and private, the hosts are wonderful, our pup was welcome and the hosts took amazing care of him while we were away. We ordered breakfast and it was delicious and delivered right to the door for us. We were all over the place with our plans and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Seriously a 10/10 experience with these lovely women!

I was in this area for a memorial service and my plans were tentative at best for the entire weekend. Stacy so kindly worked with me as the family’s plans changed, and my plans changed, and it could not have been a better arrangement. The gorgeous historic home felt so cozy as soon as you walked in. I stayed in the king sized bedroom with the in-room bathroom. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and there was plenty of room to unwind and relax. This was a much needed respite in such a stunningly beautiful area!
