This private timber-framed guesthouse is a stone's throw from Seymour Lake and a ten minute drive from downtown Smithers. It has beautiful wood furnishings, a king-sized bed, a fully-stocked kitchen, and is situated on a large forested property. Our place is perfect for couples looking to get away; fishers, hunters, and skiers searching for a home base; and travellers wanting to experience the British Columbian wilderness. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate kids due to the lake front access.

Shed with a bed? The dog house? Just FUN!

I hate when I travel and all I need is a bed but it’s a lot of money when you really don’t spend much time in the room anyways. So I solved my problem. I go to work a couple weeks a year in that area so I built a shed into a super nice room. Nicer then some of the hotels in town even. Has a fridge, microwave and coffee maker so It’s set. Bathrooms and shower are in the park and are about 30’ away so basically I have everything I need. Would you like to borrow it? Feel free. Enjoy.

Mountain View Home in Downtown Smithers

Half a block from Main Street, this home is the perfect place to unwind in front of our gas fireplace. Guests are walking distance to shops, restaurants, and breweries. For persons with mobility issues, it is three steps up to enter and then one level living. The shower is located inside of the bedroom, which can work for couples and young families but it is not a fit for two couples. We have a smart tv for streaming services but no cable service.

Kathlyn Creek Cottage in Smithers B.C.

A few acres just minutes from Smithers downtown. The Cottage's vista views up to Hudson Bay peaks. Kathlyn Creek meanders through the property, making for a great summer and winter retreat. It may be a "wee" Cottage, but a kid's loft and en-suite bedroom make for a cozy getaway for a family of 4 or friends. Kids under 3 stay free. The kitchenette is stocked for your first couple of breakfasts, including daily fresh eggs.

The living area has a smart TV and office nook with desk. For the sports enthusiests, or guests that need extra storage room, we have a heated storage room, with dehumidifier, that gives guests secure equipment storage.
