Our Scandinavian modern-vintage hideaway is tucked away at the edge of the forest. Open the sliding door and have breakfast with bird sounds, pine scent and squirrels all around you. Large glass facades, Danish design furniture, a rain shower and a barista corner provide luxurious comfort in the middle of nature. Outside, you can enjoy a shower or bath under the pine trees, relax in the hammock and a fire pit under the starry sky. The Gorsselse Heide and the historic Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Deventer are just around the corner.

Spacious lounge/ dining area with superbly equipped kitchen ( induction hob, oven, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine )and utility room with washing machine and microwave. The double bedroom has an extremely comfortable bed. Entrance hall from the main door leads into the lounge and modern bathroom. A separate entrance from the lounge leads onto a sunny private fenced garden with lovely views onto the historic castle walls and tower. Just off the garden is a private secure area to store/charge bicycles.

The luxurious and stylish accommodation is located on the Berkel in the historic Hanseatic city of Zutphen. It is a wonderful base for exploring Zutphen and its surroundings all year round. It is only a few minutes' walk to the city. Zutphen is a beautiful city with many historic buildings with nice shops, museums and many restaurants. There are several hiking/cycling routes. So you can explore the IJssel/Berkel area, the forests or Veluwe. From the backyard, you can step onto a SUP or into a canoe.

The Atmosphere Farm is the back part of our arable farm, but you have complete privacy through a private entrance and terrace. Feel welcome!

You have the De Smederij guest house all to yourself and it has its own entrance. Parking is free for guests. It is a few steps away from the IJssel and within walking distance of the historic center of Zutphen and the station. Zutphen is at home in all markets. Speaking of market; the market on Thursday and Saturday in the center is worth a stroll. Cycling with the wind in your hair in the countryside or to a museum or theater. Relax or work.
