El Portal: Gorgeous Rural House Next to the Castle

The Portal is the name people gave to this house as early as the mid 19th century. It is a rustic house built on the city walls by peasants with farmlands in the Moratalla valley that has been modified over time to accommodate modern tastes. For example, the fireplace was used until the early twenty-first century as the kitchen of the home, but it now has a wood stove insert and the modern bedroom on the top floor was not long ago a dry storage space for local produce throughout the year .

Old renovated house with character, maintaining the charm of yesteryear, but with all the necessary amenities to spend a few days disconnected from the noise of the city. Located in the old town of Moratalla, with parking 50 meters away, you can walk to all the places in the village. Overlooking the castle and a two-minute walk from the church and its viewpoint.
