Vacation rentals in Huntingdon

We were giving great instructions & checking in was easy! There was literally anything we needed from an electric kettle to s’mores sticks. The upstairs bedroom porch was peaceful to open when it was raining outside. The sauna was my fav part! It was close to head into Lake Placid for the day. The only thing we noticed was the photos online make the space look a little bigger than it is. There is PLENTY of room and we were obsessed with it but it does look bigger online. The trees were not full while we were there so the surroundings were also different than the pictures but this is understandable with the seasons. You do have visible neighbors and are not in the woods alone like some of the photos look like. This wasn’t a problem at all but surprised us when we pulled up. The local small hikes are awesome & the house was so peaceful. We had snow flurries our last morning and it was beautiful! Highly recommend!

We had a very great vacation at this place. Near to the WhiteFace mountain, the house has many accommodations (dishwasher, washer and dryer…). It was perfect for our family.

Doe-A-Deer was absolutely beautiful, we had a group of 11 that visited for our yearly ski trip for an extended weekend. The house was peaceful, clean, and modern. Only 20 minutes from whiteface mountain. Nice amenities and we loved the fireplace! Would love to stay here again, thanks again!

We loved this home. The lakefront location was beautiful and convenient. It is 20 minutes away from both downtown Burlington and a lakeside state park we visited for a hike. The home was a great fit for our family. The proximity of the home to the park was terrific for our dogs. Would definitely book again.

The house was exactly as described, clean and comfortable. Sue was super with communication and very kind.

This place is peaceful, beautiful, a gem. I loved hearing the water from the sundeck (porch with windows): looking and hearing the water, feeling so close was a balm and beauty. For those seeking rustic beauty, you cannot do better. The home is well set-up: cozy, stocked, inviting. The sky is full of stars, the tide comes in and out, the woods are just there. David's local recommendations were also outstanding, making us feel like visitors welcomed personally. We followed several of his suggestions at an easy pace: and so soaked in the quaint Brooklyn, WoodenBoatSchool, and gem-of-a-library. It was autumn with some rain, some cool, great beauty always. In other weather we might have done a campfire or bbq. Lovely seats outside. There were more places to sleep than we imagined there might be: it was just my teen son and I, so we didn't even go to the loft. This is a cozy cabin on the sea, with exceptional grounds and a good soul for host!

The railing is very dangerous. Its screwed into the sheetrock and not into a stud. Caused me to injure my ankle when i lost my footing. If it was secured properly i would of been fine

very nice area quiet and easy to access. the house was clean and very functional.

very nice homey house, super clean, accommodating. Sarah was very helpful with our truck and trail parking.
