Vacation rentals with lake access in Iberian Peninsula

We had an unforgettable weekend with family and friends in this house! The place is perfectly located, spacious and very well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, the decor is warm, and everything is designed to make guests feel at home. The kitchen is fully equipped, which was ideal for preparing good group meals. The garden and outdoor spaces were perfect for relaxing. The host was very responsive and attentive, always available to answer our questions. We highly recommend this home and hope to return soon for another family stay!

Flawless accommodation! I recommend it without problem. Excellent description for an independent arrival. Be careful with parking, not necessarily easy to maneuver. 😉

We stayed there in the winter to celebrate New Year's Eve with the family. The large play room was great for the kids who played little outside. The house is well-equipped, and the bedding is comfortable. We enjoy spending time in front of the stove. Get up in the morning with this view, it's magic! Only downside, but it's inherent to the old house, the floors are noisy and the walls and floors are very thin. You can hear everything.

Amazing location with endless views of water and nature. Denys was incredibly helpful and timely in his communications and he carried a translator which was super helpful with our basic French. The outdoor space had a variety of setups for wind and sun. We could walk or the door for exercise and enjoying spring nature. The vegetable basket from his local garden was so appreciated! We had a great time at the Cabanon with our French bulldogs. We thank Alexandra for all the care available in the accommodation, including for our pets. We felt at the Cabanon like we were at home. The neighborhood is peaceful and very well located. I highly recommend if we come back to the area we will go to Alexandra's Cabanon again where calm and serenity reign. We had a lovely short stay (2 nights) in this fully equipped accommodation, even including towels. The children's room is just a little low in the rooftop soup. An adult easily bumps his head. But for a family with 2 small children, it's quite suitable. The garden is very pleasant, well-equipped and without vis-à-vis. The accommodation is also very well located, very close to the lake and the children's island. Nico was very flexible and accommodating regarding check-in and check-out times and was good advice for the surrounding outings.

The villa is truly spectacular, with a breathtaking view, and João has proven himself to be an extremely friendly and thoughtful host. We had a wonderful stay — it was undoubtedly an authentic retreat. The only observation to make is that the 4th room should not be classified as such, since it is a small space, without window or door, equipped only with a bunk bed, which is not properly noticeable in the photographs. Still, I recommend this home without any reservation.

We had a pleasant time isolated on the lake with friends for a fishing birthday. The wood fire in winter is essential in the house and our host is incredibly responsive and proactive. I recommend the location if you are looking for tranquility!!!

We’ve just spent an amazing 7 days at Charlotte and Damien’s place. The apartment is beautiful and a good size for a group for 6 like we were. The location is perfect. Super close to bike rental so you can pick them up and soon learn your way around the area. It’s just a perfect base to surf, cycle, explore the stunning Hossegor town. We didn’t use the spa but it’s good to have the option. Also both hosts replied to a lot of messages when we had trouble with our flights to and from. The only improvement would be to have more basic amenities provided - things like black bin bags or toilet paper, but apart from this we loved our time here and was sad to leave. Merci!

We had a great time in a quiet place with magnificent views of Lake Pareloup. Very clean accommodation.

A short stay for Easter weekend, Émilie was very welcoming and gave good advice, not knowing the area, it allowed us to visit and discover lots of beautiful things and beautiful places. The accommodation is well equipped with all the necessities useful and well located in a quiet place with magnificent views and quick access to shops and tourist towns in the area. We had a lovely stay

Great stay at Amandine's apartment. It is very well located in a very family-friendly area. The free access to the pools is a real advantage. This complex is clean and well kept, it is possible to rent sunbeds for €1. There are also many activities offered by the city Place de la Martinique right next door. When it comes to the apartment, it's small but functional. The sofa mattress is new which ensures a good night's stay! The view from the terrace of the pond is nice and mosquito-free. Thanks to Amandine for her hospitality and advice on outings.

We were welcomed by Marie-Jo who is a very friendly and caring person. Her advice allowed us to optimize our short 3-day stay. The apartment is in a very good location and perfectly equipped. We were able to enjoy breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake... a real treat! I would recommend it in a second!

Katarina and Lars' apartment is very nice, completely renovated and in all respects as described . The view of the pond of Thau is superb and the terrace is nice to watch the sunset. We spent the new year week there and enjoyed the small village of Bouzigues which has a lot of charm. Free parking is also appreciated as long as you avoid restaurant schedules where it can be a little more difficult to find space. In conclusion, it's difficult to be disappointed with this stay and we will gladly go back Sarah and Jean Marc

We needed a simple place to stay to rest on our return trip. Very good for 1 adult 2 children. We were able to cook and sleep comfortably after a quiet little TV night. It was raining a lot otherwise we would have gone for a picnic on the beach, very close. The area is very pretty: we'll have to come back. Must: The bakery just downstairs. And the Basque cake was much appreciated by the whole family.

Great location: Isabelle is adorable, the mobile home is very clean and in a good location, very quiet place at the entrance to Caramany which is well worth the detour. I highly recommend it.

We have just spent a very relaxing 2 weeks at Naomi's lovely gite. The property itself was very clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed; we especially liked the covered terrace off the kitchen and the pool area. The gite is in a very peaceful, secluded location but within easy reach of plenty of picturesque bastide towns. The closest, Villeréal, is only a 10 minute drive away and has plenty of cafes, restaurants and food shops as well as weekly markets and evening food markets - it was really lovely. Naomi and her family are fantastic hosts - very welcoming, helpful and friendly. A great holIday let!

Great stay at this very well-equipped cottage! Very nice and functional,good bedding,and all the amenities needed to enjoy the activities offered on site! We'll be happy to go back!

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.
