We have a wonderful stay at Insa's place. She is the perfect host and has a gem of a home and garden. She is very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The setting is beautiful for hiking and brings peace and relaxation. Highly recommended to stay, thank you Insa!

We had a very nice vacation in Michael's house. Everything was as described and was clean, the kitchen well equipped. The rooms are practical and tastefully decorated; we also found it very positive that there was no unnecessary decor. There was also a high chair and a baby cot as well as a fall-out protection for the (parent)bed, great! There is a play framework outside, which was great for the kids. We can fully recommend Michael as a host and his house.

It was a wonderful few days in East Frisia. The accommodation is very quietly located on the dyke about a 15-minute drive to Norddeich. The apartment was super clean and well thought out. The garden has been extensively played by the children and the garage has plenty of room for bikes and our trailers to offer. We say thank you for the great time.

We were allowed to spend an unforgettable week at the "Old Painters House". Already upon arrival, it becomes clear: the location is an absolute dream. Quiet location, right on the water and off the small country road, great for unwinding. The decor is not only tasteful and cozy, but also designed with a lot of love for detail. Especially the large bedroom with its wide view over the surrounding meadows appealed to us. A real highlight was the observation of thousands of nuns geese – right from the bed! Nature up close without leaving the house. A short walk leads over a small dock to Sieltor, from where you can enjoy a great view of Ems and Dollart. The next rolls are a bit away, but of the best quality. Conclusion: A wonderful holiday home with a very special atmosphere, in the middle of a quiet, inspiring environment. A week full of peace, nature and well-being – we will be happy to come back!

I highly recommend the apartment!! We were there with 5 women and appreciated the large living area very much. In the spacious apartment you quickly feel at home and can enjoy your stay even in January. Grete is a very good host, thanks for everything!!!!!

I had a nice stay at this apartment— one of the best airbnb experiences I've had! I was here for a month-long work trip, and the location was ideal. It’s just a 15-minute bike ride to the university and only 5 minutes to the city center. The surroundings are peaceful yet close to everything. The apartment is well equipped, especially for a longer stay like mine. Cleaning supplies are easy to find, which made upkeep effortless. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking, though I couldn't find a microwave function in the embedded oven. Other than that, everything was perfect! A special mention to Nina, the host, who was very kind. She promptly answered my questions and even picked me up from the station when there were no taxis available in the night! And got me a table for working at my request. Thank you, Nina! I was lucky with the weather during my stay, and the balcony was often bathed in sunshine, which made the mornings even more beautiful. I highly recommend this place!

We stayed with Hedda for 6 days and felt very comfortable. Everything was very clean and tidy. Everything we needed was available. Hedda was super flexible, friendly, straightforward, and helpful. If you don't just want to be self-catering, you will find a good Italian just 200 m away and in the Combi market an amazingly good breakfast. We can only recommend this place. We'd love to come back.

There were three of us (two adults and one toddler) in the apartment. We were warmly welcomed and the place is very cozy, offers plenty of space, has everything in inventory you could need and was very clean. Absolutely recommended! :)

My girlfriend and I spent our second stay together here; the home was just a perfect as the first time around. The setting is beautiful and was just as pleasant during winter as it was in the summer. We got lucky and had snow this time, which truly made for some gorgeous views and serene surroundings. Rosie & Thomas were simply perfect hosts, which we had come to expect from our first experience with the couple. Highly recommended place to stay for those seeking a peaceful getaway; with easy access to both the rural and sub-urban parts of Germany. No doubt we will be back in the near future :)

We spent a weekend in Leer and were very happy with the place. Everything was clean and as described. It was important to us to store our bikes safely, which worked out great in the cabin. On request, we were allowed to enter the apartment earlier. Thank you for that 💐 We would take this place again if we come back to Leer.

The apartment has a great location and great views. You can quickly reach the beach promenade and, for example, the aquarium and the marine museum, both within easy walking distance. The beds and sheets were very comfortable. We stayed at Gabriele's place as a family and felt very comfortable - we would book again immediately!

Everything was good and I highly recommend this place. Clean and tidy furnishings. Uncomplicated landlady with constant good contact.
