Cute and small log cottage by lake Saajuu

Cottage facilities The cottage has a kitchenette with a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a hot plate and an oven. Dishes and tableware are provided for six people. There is a sleeping alcove with a 110 cm wide bed. The space underneath the bed is convenient for storing luggage and other belongings. In the yard, there is a separate guest house with two additional sleeping places and a storage room. Please bring your own bed linen – bed linen is not provided. Guests are responsible for the final cleaning. There is additional storage space in a chest of drawers. The living room has a dining table with benches. The cottage has a fireplace (not a heat-storing fireplace). There is a spacious terrace with a fixed dining table. The terrace has direct access to the sauna. By the lake, there is a pier, a boat and a barbecue area. The yard consists of lawn and natural vegetation. Drinking water must be brought with you. Bottled drinking water is available at the shops in Sulkava. The neighbouring cottages also use lake water as drinking water. This is therefore possible, but at your own risk. Pets are welcome! Please note that, despite cleaning, dog hair may still be found inside the cottage. There is an outdoor dry toilet (outhouse) in the upper part of the yard, next to the woodshed. Distances and nearby services The nearest shops, restaurants, cafés, pharmacy, library, gym, outdoor fitness stairs, bicycle rental and other services are in the centre of Sulkava, approximately 15 km away. Vilkaharju nature trail and Salpalinja monument – 20 km Vekaransalmi Bridge – 30 km Lohilahti, a lively summer village – 40 km

The whole house at your disposal

Enjoy a vacation and get active in Punkaharju Lake Saimaa's waves are just 100 meters away, and the fishing waters of Pihlajavesi and Puruvesi await enthusiasts. The area's sandy beaches, the Forest Museum, the petting zoo, and the hiking trails with their lean-tos in the tree species park offer activities for the whole family. The Savonlinna Opera Festival is a 30-minute drive away. There are several sandy beaches in the area. In Punkaharju, there are grocery stores, a pharmacy, and a gas station; the distance is 8 km (5 miles). 30 km to Savonlinna, 6 km to Lusto train station, 350 km to Helsinki.

Our PihaMummola is an idyllic and authentic granny in the courtyard of a functioning organic dairy farm. Here you can get to know the life of the farm, milking and taking care of the animals if you want. Our farm's cows include gentle individuals and, among other things, all Finnish cattle breeds. In addition to the main building, Mummolan's rent includes a separate lakeside sauna. Waterways and magnificent forest areas dominate the region, but in Mummol you can also easily explore the lively summer village of Lohilahti.

Traditions and linen

Eco-friendly cottage living on a large property (4 hectares) with no nearby neighbours. The building is clean, fresh and well decorated with materials. You'll get a made bed with linen sheets, a cold refrigerator, and your own south-facing sandy beach. A few kilometers away is Puumala Golf, Sulkava Castle Mountain, and more to see. You can row, sauna, and grill. The building has solar power where you can charge your phone and get light in the evening. Berries and mushrooms can be collected from your own forest.

You can relax in the beach sauna, swim in Lake Saimaa and enjoy barbecue meals on the barbecue canopy while admiring the sunset. The private beach also offers the opportunity to use the pool, the pier, fishing and the rowing boat.

Putkola Cottage Finland

Find your peace in a classic Finnish cottage with a sauna in the immediate vicinity of Lake Kivenkänä in South Karelia. The cottage is electrified, service water must be carried from the lake, guests must bring their own drinking water. Dry toilet. Not far from the cottage is the Kyläkuppila Käpälämäki bar, where in addition to the classic offer of drinks and meals, you can also buy basic groceries, various consumer goods, and fishing permits. Various cultural evenings are often held here.

Villa Myllymäki

In the villa Myllymäki, built on top of Myllymäki with my own hands, it is easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the magnificent scenery. A window the size of the entire end wall frames the magnificent lake landscape. The farm has about 40 hectares of forest for animal grazing, which guarantees easy and fine hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10 km by car or 6 km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.

House in an urban area and private beach

In the vicinity of Lake Saimaa, a single-family house with a wood sauna and a private lakeside sauna +beach about 500m from the house. There are no amenities on the beach; water is brought from Lake Saimaa. The beach is accessible by car. Kid-friendly beach, or shallow sandy bottom. A big private yard, a tram for the kids, and a toddler experience. A nearby school with a skatepark and jumping equipment. Nature and jogging trails nearby! The nearest stores are about 1 km away.

Studio Esterinkatu

We decorated a cute studio apartment to be a place where we would also enjoy ourselves on a trip. The compact 30 sqm apartment has all the necessary functions. 160cm double bed, sofa, 55” TV and spacious dining table for two. The kitchen is well equipped and has a fridge-freezer, induction stove and dishwasher. Of course, the spacious bathroom has a washing machine. The balcony, which is the width of the apartment, faces the evening sun and is a nice addition in the summer.

Villa Saimaa Swan Bay

In a modern cottage on the shores of Lake Saimaa, you can spend your holiday in a great setting. The large windows of the cottage overlook Lake Saimaa. The wood-heated sauna has soft steam and a large landscape window. The sauna has a large terrace area for lounging and cooking (barbecue and smoker). Good opportunities for fishing, berry picking, cycling, golf, skiing, etc. The year-round outdoor hot tub, rowboat, 2 SUP boards and 2 kayaks are freely available to tenants.

Romantic shelter with a great view

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.
