The home met my family and i expectation. The balcony is truly the highlight of the apartment. The separation between the bedrooms and living space was amazing. The elevator to go up wasn’t very pleasing and the entrance to the building can easily be missed as there is no identifier. There was no true parking, or free at least. The garage parking and front of building parking always had someone wanting to charge you. It’s pretty safe all around, the home itself was very great, big, spacious and was beautiful inside.

Good flat, very comfortable and convenient. Good location and area, safe building. Owner is very kind and in touch if you need anything. We stayed there with my friends and had a really nice time. I recommend ++ thank you

I enjoyed staying at Ahmed's flat immensely. This beautiful flat is a gem within the heart of Zamalek. It has a magical view from the balcony of the River Nile, and whichever time of day one will always wash away any work or life stress by just looking at this view. The flat also benefits from a unique panoramic view of Cairo through its large windows and from the balcony. The sunset time is particularly memorable, and the breeze in the balcony even during the hot summer is refreshing and pleasant. The flat is very clean, spacious, and it is close to multiple shops, cafes, supermarkets and the main 26 July st. which is a busy entertainment and social hub. Ahmed is a great host, always attentive to details and to the guest's queries and requests. He is quick to respond to any issues that might arise. The building itself is very safe and has 24-hour security at the landing. For me, staying at Ahmed's flat was memorable, and would definitely stay there again. It is the sort of place that truly ignites your love of Cairo because you see its majestic beauty in front of you day and night.

This is the best listing I have experienced in Zamalik. Small yet worm and intimate place, clean well organized furniture not mentioning the homy suburban view from the window. All amenities as mentioned in the listing and more than expected. The listing is in the heart of art schools district where students mingle around. This will touch your heart and might take you back in the old times. Ismail the host is supporting willing to do whatever you need to make sure you end up with the best travel experience you might have.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!
